Love this unit
Installed this in my old 2005 Scion XB -- fits nice, works great and may actually doubled the value of the car.The interface is easy to use, wireless connectivity is good (can get a little spotty in urban areas , but that is to be expected and minimal) . The sound is fantastic when you have a quality set of speakers.

This is the cream of the crop.
I really, really miss this headunit as I eventually got a new car that does not follow the DIN system for headunits. I used it for almost 2 years as I was sick and tired of my 2014 Subaru Impreza's stock unit. Installation was easy once I acquired the right harness and frame kit. I got all of those from Metra here on Amazon. I even was able to retain steering wheel controls. The touchscreen is excellent and feels great. It's fast and responsive. It's very visible in broad daylight. The fact that it has physical buttons too for commonly used buttons like volume is one of my two favourite features. My other favourite feature is the built-in wireless Android Auto. Worked like a charm and connected by the time I was out of my driveway. The UI is easy to learn and is full of features that I thought I'd never end up using but eventually did.Out of all the headunits that me or my family have ever had, this is most definitely the best one hands down.

Works well
Its technology. When it works well, it’s great. When it doesn’t, it sucks. Added a camera and it only works when in reverse, manual override doesn’t work. Sometimes CarPlay doesn’t connect. But, 90% of the time every things works great and I really like this unit.

Great head unit from a very considerate seller!
Great head unit, the seller actually sold out of the unit I ordered, so they upgraded me for free to the newest version, which was considerably more expensive.

Everything i wanted "Handsfree wireless Android Auto"
Works great. 1 problem I found and may help others. During the initial settup CONNECT YOUR PHONE WITH A HARDWIRE,(even thought it is wireless) if you dont, it will not function corectly. After the setup, from that point on you will not be required to plug your phone in at all. ! HARD LESSON LEARNED ON MY PART

Sounds good...but Castings doesn't work at all and it won't...
The Good News:- The stereo sounds great. The audio quality is very nice.- The screen functions well and is responsive- It mounts easily in my car (Subaru BRZ)The Bad- The unit is not compatible with any modern cell phones that want to use casting. The casting only works on a very small set of cell phones that are running on android 6 and OLDER. Google dropped support for Miracast and Kenwood has not released an update that would allow any modern cell phone to work. Samsung has some work around systems in place, but that is about it.- Kenwood is lying about the wireless mirror casting even being a feature. I called their support and asked for some help and they literally told me it was a broken system and maybe it would be patched.......The Support rep literally said "mirror casting doesn't work and hopefully a fix will come out soon". That is a bunch of scummy junk if you ask me.- Android auto or apple car play will be required, and since you can not cast, there is not alternative. This means that if your phone has a bad update, you may lose the ability to even use the car head unit. Maps might break, phone calls, etc. Historically speaking, Apple CarPlay and Android auto have unreliable updates. This head unit will die if apple or google screw up their updates...like they always do.- The screen is very low resolution. I don't mind it, but some people hate this.- Be careful with wiring, the manual is very vague if you aren't an expert at setting up a stereo.

Wish I had bought this sooner
I bought this radio to replace the Pioneer CD player I had in my truck. I bought it mainly for the Android Play capability, but I didn't realized how much cleaner my music could sound. The only thing changed was the radio, but the music sounds so much better. I absolutely love this radio!!

What an aftermarket car stereo should be.
A big upgrade over the DMX905S I had. I used to have a Clarion that had video playback capabilities, but absolutely awful Bluetooth. This has either wired or wireless mirroring, along with Apple carplay and Android Auto wireless. Android did have it working through December to connect without touching anything, and botched it with an update, and can't seem to fix it, but it's still a better choice than Bluetooth. Any of the shortfalls on Android Auto are with Android, not this head unit. I can stream Disney+, Spectrum, ESPN, Fox Sports, whatever via mirroring without issue. Still love the ease of installation, not having to modify or change the wiring harness. Make sure to adjust the volume offset, lest you blow your eardrums out.
