Collecting 3 classic fan-favorite Wolverine novels together for the first time in a brand-new omnibus edition—including the origin story Weapon X. Weapon X by Mark Cerasini: Before joining the X-Men, Wolverine was simply a directionless loner mutant named Logan. This is the cruel origin of Logan's transformation into Wolverine, as seen through the eyes of his tormentors. Their goal is to create the ultimate weapon, an indestructible man. As Logan manages to free himself from his captors, a brutal wave of violence affects all those involved. Road of Bones by David Alan Mack: Wolverine is tapped by a government agency to investigate rumors of a miracle cure developed by a sinister underworld organization, and used to gain leverage and control over desperate African nations. Wolverine must thwart the criminals' schemes and recover the panacea for benign use. But hope may turn to ashes as Logan learns that nothing is quite as it seems. Lifeblood by Matthew Hughes: Wolverine's memories of fighting in the Canadian army during World War II begin to resurface. Digging deeper, he discovers he was a prisoner of war, at the will of a ruthless Nazi scientist determined to unlock the secrets of Logan's mutant healing powers. What Logan doesn't know is that the scientist is still at large, and he'll stop at nothing to finish what he started sixty years earlier... Review: Perfect Condition - After a post office mishap I received it. The book was packaged nicely and came in excellent condition. Seller responded fast with shipping problem I had, which was great. Great set of books as well. Read them some time ago and will enjoy reading them again. Review: Excited to read, but came damaged - In super excited to read this! Love Wolverine. However, I am a bit disappointed because I went out of my way to buy a brand new mint one instead of one of the taunting “new, like used” ones when they were way cheaper. The book still came damaged. Nothing too bad, but I still would’ve definitely preferred it to be mint. The edges are worn, some of the spine peeled, and there’s a crease. :(

A Thrilling Collection Of Stories That Delve Inti the Dark and Complex Origins Of Wolverine
"Wolverine: Weapon X Omnibus Collection" is an anthology that brings together three fan-favorite Wolverine solo books: "Weapon X," "Road of Bones," and "Lifeblood." Written by Marc Cerasini, David Alan Mack, and Hugh Matthew's respectively, this collection offers an enthralling and gritty exploration of the iconic mutant's origins, struggles, and inner demons. The first book in the collection, "Weapon X," delves into Wolverine's haunting past and his transformation into a living weapon. Marc Cerasini skillfully weaves a tale of suspense and horror as Wolverine confronts the dark forces that experimented on him, leaving readers on the edge of their seats. The book delves deep into Wolverine's psyche, revealing his vulnerability and the indomitable spirit that defines him. In "Road of Bones," David Alan Mack takes Wolverine on a perilous journey through the frozen wastelands of Siberia. Mack's atmospheric writing captures the desolation and brutality of the setting, immersing readers in a world where survival is a constant struggle. The book showcases Wolverine's resilience and determination as he faces formidable adversaries and grapples with his own inner turmoil. The final book in the collection, "Lifeblood," written by Hugh Matthew's, delves into Wolverine's complex relationships and the consequences of his immortality. Matthew's explores the themes of love, loss, and the burden of eternal life, adding depth and emotional resonance to the narrative. Readers will be captivated as Wolverine navigates the treacherous waters of his past and confronts the choices he has made. The anthology format of "Wolverine: Weapon X Omnibus Collection" allows for a diverse range of storytelling styles and perspectives. Each book stands on its own, offering a unique glimpse into different facets of Wolverine's character and world. The writers' individual voices shine through, creating a cohesive yet varied reading experience. One of the strengths of this collection is the attention to detail and the exploration of Wolverine's internal struggles. The writers delve into his complex psyche, portraying his inner conflicts, and the constant battle between his animalistic instincts and his desire for redemption. The character development is compelling, and readers will find themselves emotionally invested in Wolverine's journey. The artwork in "Wolverine: Weapon X Omnibus Collection" is stunning and complements the narrative perfectly. The illustrations capture the raw intensity of Wolverine's battles, the desolate landscapes he traverses, and the emotional depth of the characters. The visual storytelling enhances the overall reading experience, immersing readers in the dark and gritty world of Wolverine. However, one aspect that could be improved upon is the pacing of the stories. While each book offers its own captivating narrative, there are moments where the pacing feels uneven, with certain sections dragging while others move too quickly. This occasionally disrupts the overall flow of the collection, but it doesn't detract significantly from the enjoyment of the stories. In conclusion, "Wolverine: Weapon X Omnibus Collection" is a must-have for any fan of the iconic mutant. With its thrilling storytelling, complex character development, and stunning artwork, this anthology offers a captivating journey into the dark and complex world of Wolverine. Despite minor pacing issues, the collection succeeds in delving into the depths of Wolverine's character and delivering an immersive reading experience.

2 fantastic novels and a third mediocre one.
This is an omnibus comprised of 3 novels featuring Wolverine. The first one is based on Wolverine's origin story from the comics. It's extremely well written and the cool thing is that Wolverine is seen almost entirely from the perspective of the scientists working on him. He basically becomes the "monster" of the story. The second is an original novel inspired by the comics where Wolverine must stop the production of a a supposed miracle drug. Engaging storyline, fun side characters, and great set pieces. It has some extremely brutal sequences that may not be appropriate for kids however. The third novel, and the reason why I'm docking 2 stars from the review, is not very good. It's got an awesome premise of seeing parts of World War 2 through Wolverine's eyes, but it's just not interesting at all. It's set in the present and past. Present Logan is a wandering amnesiac, while past Logan is on a very pedantic mission (and has a terribly silly nickname). Underwhelming ending too, the story just stops, it doesn't conclude.

Collection of novels, not comics.
I didn’t read the description closely enough and bought this along with a graphic novel, thinking it was a collected comic series. I’m still looking forward to reading it despite my mistake.

"Wolverine: Weapon-X Omnibus"
