I have a black ceramic stovetop - will this paired with glass ceramic cleaning cream remove the scratches?

I also have a black ceramic stovetop. I use these pads and cleaning cream, but there are some scratched/etched areas that it simply won't improve. It cleans, but doesn't "buff away" scratches in the surface.
