Love these candles. Great price. Refreshing smell. The burn time is good. I used one candle Every night on a river trip and still had wax left when I left.

I didn’t realize I ordered the pine scent citronella and it smells incredible! I placed it on the table beneath the ceiling fan that attaches to our umbrella and the fan helped disperse the scent and kept away all the bugs. The wooden crackle wick is also a nice touch - I definitely recommend this little candle!

The smell is pleasant. We used it for the first time tonight. The smallest breeze would blow out the candle. I relit it twice in under 30 minutes. I definitely did not hear any crackling, but I didn’t buy it for that reason. It was easy to light and seemed to do the job of keeping mosquitos away while it was burning.

Small but BIG results. It smells great and works perfectly. Before I would get bites all over my legs since not one bite!

These candles smell great, last a long time and do a great job of keeping mosquitoes away. However, they are easily blown out by the slightest breeze. I keep them on my patio table and have to relight them every two minutes or so. I’ve had other citronella candles and rarely need too relight them.

Not quite "PINE" scented but better than "PLAIN" Citronella Smell. It arrived as a much smaller unit than I thought it would be but after sitting on my kitchen counter for the day.... I have come to really like this little thing..... Especially with the 'added pine scent'..... it is MUCH BETTER than a plain citronella-smelling candle.... although most will probably not agree that it is not pine-smelling. However, anything beyond the basic smell is always appreciated, not to mention the longer burn time/brightness in such a small unit, AND it's packability/storage! I am exceptionally happy in taking a chance with this item. ....yea, it's just a candle - BUT it lasts for 25 hours, it might dissuade bugs, and it's brighter than most for being 'just a candle'. Tis not for use in any tent, but just for enjoying the outdoors anywhere you might be --it has truly rocked my anal world of 'pickyness':)) The other thing....... I heard no crackling BUT ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BIGGER WICK!!! If camping, it def puts out a bigger light (and hopefully keeps a few buggies away). Much better than a normal candle lantern moment. NOT TO MENTION, that this puppy: 1) Can stack on top of one another (for storage) perfectly, AND it's small enough for 'any camping kit'. 2) It is NOT glass and is SO VERY SELF-CONTAINED in it's own tin ---- it's absolutely ABFAB!!! :)) I was not going to leave a review because I have learned.... as picky as I am about items, once ravely reviewed about ---the cost goes up :) But for those of you looking for a nice candle at home or camping that puts out a brighter light than most (I could care less about 'crackling wick' and IF it hopefully might work for bugs)..... THIS PUPPY ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!!!! Not to mention that it is supposed to last for 25 hours (added bonus if it does work for bugs in a small area or if it even crackles). Being a nice self-contained unit/tin, I am back to get 10 more for my a)camping kit, b)my car camping kit, c)my patio, d)my mom's patio..... and possible little stocking stuffers for friends :)))) No glass to break anywhere, just a simple tin w/top.... yeeehaw!!!! Yep.... I truly am that impressed! But 'SHISSHHHH'.... don't advertise nor tell anyone.... let's keep the "add-on" price as it is folks please ;)) It's such a 'whoopy' for me - that I couldn't contain myself and just had to drop a note here...... so SHISSHHHH ----buy, enjoy, but do not share your thoughts here -----tis an xlnt price for what you get.... let's try to keep it that way here on amazon eh ;) Happy 'less darkness/bugs' to all! :)))

Nice smell and keeps them buzzed away

We live on the ground floor in hot and humid Singapore and have the occasional mosquitoes problem. This candle is the best by far and I’ve not had any mozzies flying into the house in the 2 days that I have this burning for a few hours each day. Already stocking up since it’s on sale! Oh! And the smell is very pleasant!

Has a nice citronella scent.
