Would this be good for a firefighter to use??

It would make an OK tool, but probably only for prying. One end is more hammer like and designed to "grab" boards. I wouldn't recommend it for fire fighting. I have 30+ years of fire experience.

Is this made out of metal or aluminum? And is there any place it has plastic on it?

This is not aluminum and there is rubber for gripping. There is no plastic on mine. It is a great tool and I have gotten a lot of use out of it.

How much weight can I put on it before it snaps when prying?

That’s a pretty broad question. This thing is beefy and tough. I don’t think you are going to break this thing. Its tougher than a crowbar
