A very good crossbow
This is a very powerful crossbow! I was able to fire a bolt into a 4x4 post and have about 4 inches appear on the other side. I have had no problem with the drawstring, but I do recommend waxing it after every hunting trip or day practicing. Definitely well worth the money!

Great
I bought this for my husband because I'm the greatest wife on the planet. And he still hasn't brought me home a deer. No worries... it's him not the bow. It's a great bow. Easy assembly. Great performance. Great value. Accuracy depends on who's shooting. 🤣 Spot on for me.

Avoid this if you want something that works
This crossbow at first glance and first use seems awesome. Powerfull ergonomic and visually pleasant..... that's where it ends. I bought this after doing a lot of searching and picked it up seeing good reviews (for the most part) and the awesome deal for what came with it! Shipping was fast haf my local shop assemble it and was on my way! That's when my love affair ended! Just about a dozen or so bolts it was shooting consistently within 1 to 2in groups at 20 and 40yds. That's when I noticed the center serving coming apart. Took it to my shop and apon his inspection found the cable serving was also falling apart. He contacted customer service and they sent a new set of string and cables out took around three weeks and I had to pay for install. Got it home fired 6 bolts to confirm the scope excellent results. Apon inspection I noticed the cable serving separating again right where the cam lobes revolve at when cooked. Then I inspected the limbs one started to splinter and back to the shop it went. In all this thing has spent more time in the shop than I have owned it. I have missed two weeks of my season and am still waiting on them to send new parts. Add in all the extra money spent on labor and I could have bought all the extras that came with it or a reputable x bow! I will update if this ever gets fixed but would advise you to spend the extra and get something better!

It Kills. What else do you want to talk about?
My husband- I did a lot of research and shot some really expensive crossbows but kept coming back to this one. You cannot beat the quality for the price. The shoulder extension is a little loose but a little camo tape and your done. Once zero'd this thing is super accurate and reasonably quiet. The congregations at two different archery shops tried to tell me that the $1850+ crossbows were what I needed. Probably the same people that sit in the same treestand every year for the past 25 years... 2 shots and 2 bucks down in 2 separate states on public land. One at 45 yards one at 30 yards. I was prepared to spend 3 times the amount but the two additional European mounts on my wall tell me that I didn't need the over the top expensive crossbow. I'm sure they make sense for some reason but not to me. The Boss 405 is the best deal out there.

Not just for beginners!
The only reason I only gave it five stars is because there wasn’t a sixth star available. It’s super fast. Much faster than my old crossbow. It was very easy to assemble. I would recommend to the manufacturer to include torque values in the assembly instructions. That could help those of us prone to over tighten. This thing is also very accurate. It’s giving me really tight groups out to 40 yards. The only issue I had with the kit was the scope. I couldn’t get the reticle to come into focus. I had another scope available and after I changed it out I was off and running. I can recommend to a beginner of a veteran shooter!

Great first crossbow for anyone interested in getting one at a decent price.
First question? What does the "warmth" rating mean lol? Anyways, this bow is absolutely on point. Very easy to assemble. Comes with everything you may need. Scope is great. Not blurry, I think the other reviewer left the lens covers on or didnt adjust the rear lens correctly. I sighted this in at 20yds and its definitely a tack driver. It does have a very strong pull with the cocking rope but I didnt shorten the rope at all yet. I'm sure by shortening up the handles on the rope that it will fix that. Instructions were very easy yo read and very informative. Case that wasbprovide is very well made and functional. Killer Instincts website also has some great instructional videos as well. Now for the downside. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is because the butt stock is very loose. Way too much play. Basically flops around like a marionette. Other than that I am a very satisfied owner:)

crossbow honest review
it’s a good bow i like the way it’s set up and it’s a good shooting bow but i guess it has a defect one of the limbs has cracked where it splits for the cam and i have only shot maybe 20 times

Shoots straight hard hitter
I just shot the bow for the first time. Easy to use dial in the scope and came within the quarter in shot group or less. The scope is fair, but any upgrade would help. Shooting the hand guard is excellent, especially if you have large hands like mine. The adjustable stock helped with having long arms. It is really quite.
