Still the best controllers I have ever owned.
UPDATE: 7/16/2024: now at 2 years. I own 2 of them and they both work like they are new no button issues or stick drift whatsoever . These are the only controllers I will buy unless they start cutting corners and their quality and durability falls. As far as I am concerned all other brand name controllers are a joke compared to this company. Plus the programmable rear buttons on the fly I use them all the time. Only thing I would change is having several profiles swappable directly from the controller. Strictly for saving the rear paddle assignments to use on different games. Maybe a toggle switch on the rear of the controller UPDATE: 1/19/23 (APPROX 6 months) Thing still works just as well as the first day I purchased it. No stick drift, no broken components. Keeps a charge for quite a while. Usually charge every 2-3 days of heavy gaming. I would like to see another version of this with slightly larger rear rocker buttons and maybe 2 more programmable buttons as well. Either rear or shoulder like the Razer Wolverine. Let me preface this by saying I own - Razer Wolverine V2 (bad stick drift, limited and bad programming software surprisingly) - Xbox Elite V2 - Feels like it should be the sturdiest controller I have ever owned, but the internal components are complete garbage. I have owned 3 (yes THREE) of them and each one failed within 6 months or less. These things are expensive. - PowerA Fusion 2 Pro - Great controller honestly, but not wireless and the rear paddles fall off easily. What do all 3 of these models have in common? They are all worse AND possess less functionality than this less expensive controller. I have only owned it for about 2 weeks now but I am impressed, so much so that I just recently bought another for my travel laptop. Suggestions: - The rear rocker triggers (the ones of the back of the controller itself) could be a bit bigger and easier to actuate - USB dongle made a bit smaller - Bluetooth capability added Otherwise so far this thing is great. If easySMX ever needs a product tester, SERIOUSLY line me up lol!

Durable Controller
This controller is easily the best controller I have ever used on my PC. I bought it on March 26th 2023, and as of April 28th 2024 it’s still working like as if it is brand new. It keeps dust out of the analog sticks so you don’t have to worry about characters walking when you aren’t touching it. I have dropped it, thrown it on the ground, all of that, and it still lights up, it still vibrates, it still works just fine. Before I bought this controller I was buying this off brand that was like $40.00 and those controller would last maybe a month. Not because I threw them on the ground, but because the analog sticks were made poorly so it because easier for them to be off centered. But with this controller, I have no problems. It’s easy to use, easy to assign the side buttons, one of the best accessory purchases I ever made. My only complaint is that you can’t just pair it with Bluetooth and so you either need a wired charging cable, or you need to not lose the USB stick for connection. Otherwise, it’s a great product and I highly recommend it for computer gamers because of the low cost but great quality.

Steam Compatibility, Fix for Changing the Mode
Good price and works well. I bought this controller to play certain PC games on Steam. I had an issue with the button mapping where the controller was being detected as a Nintendo Switch controller (which it is not) and the face buttons (Y, X, A and B) were being swapped. A and B were swapped and Y and X were swapped. This occurred because the controller was not in the correct MODE. While this issue occurred, the top row of LED lights were lit. To function correctly on Steam, the top and bottom row of LED lights need to be lit. However, neither pressing nor pressing and holding the MODE button changed the controller's mode. Here's the fix: 1) turn off the controller by holding down the HOME button, then unplug the USB adapter from your computer. 2) Next, press the HOME button to turn on the controller and plug the USB adapter back into the computer. Doing this caused the first and last row of LED lights on the controller to light up and fixed the mapping for the face buttons. Now, the A button is the A button, the B button is the B button (and so on), and the controller works correctly.

Great little controller
Nice features. Holds charge for a long time. I am not a real serious gamer, however, the wireless connection works well for me. Great upgrade from my stock contrller.

Affordable and reliable wireless controller.
Got this back in Feburary 2025 for my PC to play Space Marine 2, Stellar Blade, and Sifu. The size is perfect for me and it feels much like a Xbox controller. It's very responsive and there doesn't seem to be lag when I'm blocking or attacking. I've only had to charge it once a week so the battery life feels like it's a long time. You can also charge the controller while you're playing if you forget. As for Durability I don't think you should throw it or slam it out of rage. It light and feels hollow. The only Con I have is set up and this is probably just a skill issue on my part. There's not much instruction on how to set it up. If you are playing on steam make sure you click the controller icon on the game and set your button layout there. Overall I recommend this controller. It's affordable, doesn't feel cheap, and it works really well. If you're not a rager it will last for what I feel a long time. I've had it for almost half a year and no problems.

Decent enough, better options available
I've been using a wired PS4 knockoff controller for my PC gaming for the past few years, and decided I want to go wireless. I prefer the Xbox-style thumbstick layout, so I started looking for wireless controllers with that layout. I've tried the ESM-9013 from the same brand, EasySMX, and I think that's their best offering. However, I wanted to try this one because the triggers and bumpers more closely resemble a Nintendo Switch/Xbox One controller. Aesthetics The controller looks nice. It looks most similar to the Nintendo Switch Pro controller, mixed with some of the Xbox One. The ring around the right thumbstick, as well as all four face buttons light up. The light brightness can be adjusted into 5 levels through a dedicated button (including Off). Ergonomics The controller fits very nicely in my hands. It feels identical to a Switch Pro controller (which I also own). One thing I didn't like was the texture of the plastic. It feels kinda slippery, especially when your hands are sweaty. The shoulders and bumpers feel fine, and reaching up to hit the bumpers is a breeze. The Start/Select/Home buttons are all placed nicely and are easily accessed. Overall, no major complaints. Ease of use I got the version that uses a 2.4GHz dongle. Once I plugged the USB dongle into the computer and turned on the controller by hitting the home button, it made the connection instantly. No need to fiddle around with settings. It's just plug'n'play. The controller powers off by itself after several minutes inactivity. It uses a USB-C charging cable, so it's nice that I can use the same cable as my phone. The triggers feel like they have less travel distance. I don't normally notice this, but I noticed it in this one, so it must be significant. There are four buttons on the back that can be remapped to any of the face buttons. I don't use this feature (I disabled all of them), so I won't comment on it. Compatibility So far, this controller has worked with every modern PC game I've tried it with. I've tried games from Steam, Epic, Uplay, and Windows store, and they all work with it just fine. They all detect it as an Xbox controller. Most games use xinput, but this controller can also switch to dinput mode if you need it to. The Home button registers as an Xbox home button, so you can use it as the Guide button for Steam, or for Xbox Game Bar. Battery life This controller has an internal rechargeable battery. They claim up to 8 hours of battery life, but I'll never know because I charge it after every session. Since it's an internal battery, replacing it won't be as straightforward if it every goes bad. Build quality I didn't like the quality of this one as much as the ESM-9013. The plastic feels cheap, and it's overall just too loud. The face buttons are very loud and clicky, and so is the D-pad. The bumpers aren't as loud, but they're a bit too mushy. Overall, the ESM-9013 feels a lot nicer. Rumble This controller does have rumble. The rumble feels pretty good. It doesn't rattle or rumble so hard that you can feel the inner components shaking, which does happen with other cheap controllers. You can adjust the rumble intensity via a dedicated button (including Off). Overall, I think this is an alright Xbox-style gamepad for the PC. It's got 4 remappable buttons on the back which is nice for those who want it, and it also lights up, has rumble, and uses USB C. However, the ESM-9013 just feels more premium, despite not having the same fancy features. I would stick with (and recommend) the ESM-9013 as the best wireless PC gamepad in the sub-$30 price range.

Did NOT work with my Steam Deck
I bought this one a year ago for my Steam Deck and it never worked. Tried both with the dongle and bluetooth. Now they are specifically advertising Steam Deck compatability so it may have been upgraded, or mine was simply defective, but be advised nonetheless. I ended up buying a cheap Gamesir gamepad and it worked no problem compared to this SMX.

Good for the price
It works good. I've noticed when the battery runs low it starts to have connection issues. I've also noticed it will happen when its not low in a different way..where it stops working..but my weapon will do a weird glitch thing and even though I'm shooting at someone..it isn't registering at all. I'll have to reconnect it..which is a pain..because their isnt a direct off button...you hold down home and have to unplug the USB sensor. Or it won't turn off. If you are serious about your games and treat your controllers good..maybe spring for a better one. If you break them or your kids are rough on them..this is fine.
