Great Replacement
This is a great fitting replacement on my Ford F-250 6.0 powerstroke. I'm a big believer in replacing radiator caps every couple of years because a leaking radiator cap will kill your motor quick. Great price. great fit, works great

A Great Cap
This cap seems to be the ticket for Powerstrokes. I seemed to be always be losing a little antifreeze on my '00 F350 7.3L. With this cap, that has stopped. Just tighten up fairly firmly and that's it - this cap will NOT click like the old one. Thanks to Bill Hewitt at Powerstroke Help for pointing out this common Powerstroke radiator cap problem to me in an emailed video link. It can be especially bad for the newer 6.0L Powerstokes to operate with the standard Motorcraft cap that seems to have a short lifespan and stops maintaining correct cooling system pressure. You can see his video about radiator caps and the effects of cooling systems pressure on engine operation on his website.

worked great for F350 replacement
This fit great a s a replacement to keep the correct pressure going. The old caps tend to lose their pressure ,so this was a affordable fix for the 03' F350 diesel powerstroke 7.0

Direct Replacement
Direct fit and high quality part. Performs like OEM part (maybe even better as some early Ford caps had pressure holding capability compromises with time).

Itās a clicker
Works on my 6.4 F-250. BUT these new ones just āclickā instead of tighten down. Great on a gas engine, not so much for a diesel.

This thing saved my nose and lungs
So, most of the coolant tank caps you can buy these days are the clicky kind that you can't over tighten. Had my car since 2014 and it's always produced an awful coolant smell along with slow coolant level drop. After having it checked at multiple dealerships (which state no leak was found), I decided to get one of the caps you CAN over tighten (such as this one). Note that I've had virtually every type of cap I can find to try to fix this (new OEM, after market, you name it, I've tried it). Bottom line is the no-over tighten caps just DO NOT get snug enough to make a good seal under pressure. I'm not sure why, but with this cap, along with a snug torque, the problem is GONE! After a few days the gasket did get compressed and I did need to tighten it again, but since then, no problems.

Highly recommend
Saw a YouTube video where these wear out quite often and recommended this exact brand/model. I have a 01 Ford 7.3 diesel and he said that whenever a diesel truck came in for service he replaced the radiator reservoir cap as part of the regular maintenance. He said that whenever a troubled 6.0 Power Stroke came in to be rebuilt, mainly from overheating, he checked the radiator cap and it was bad or defective EVERY time. A vehicle with a defective radiator cap will register as running cooler than it actually is. So, it's a inexpensive part that can save you a ton of money. If you own a Ford 6.0 diesel this cap is a must and buy extras like I did.

Much better build quality than original ford cap as this has a bigger spring. 6.0l ford f350. If your cap isn't maintaining pressure the coolant boilng piont is lower. My truck is stock so i need the coolant to work expecially for the egr and oil

Works as good as OEM version. Had it on for over 2 years.
