Calyx Manifold Coating 3 oz

Easy to use and really dresses up the engine bay. Have used this on both a 1967 Corvette and 1999 Ford Ranger (at tune up time) and I find myself thinking about what other cars (with cast iron exhaust manifolds) I can use it on. Good stuff.

Bring to life old cast iron manifolds with Calyx. Easy to use (you will want to wear gloves). Rub it evenly into the cast iron. Use a toothbrush to get into the tight place. Touch up is very easy.

Doesn't give the silvery color shown in the ads. Testing was done first on a piece of used exhaust pipe and came out a dirty gray color. Pipe was cleaned with scotch brite & lacquer thinner.I did not use it on the manifolds.Save your money, and remove the manifolds and use paint etc.

I've been restoring Corvettes for 40 years and used Calyx for many years. But it would EASILY WIPE OFF on the back of my hands and get on the detailed engine compartment, no matter how much time had passed. So then I started using HOT STUFF manifold dressing. It looks great and LASTS! I apply it wearing those cheap thin plastic gloves that come 100 in a box (also wear when changing the oil). It goes a long way. Don't apply it thick or it will crust off. My '66 427 Corvette engine pic is shown with HOT STUFF.

Amazing product!! A little goes a long way, but boy oh boy does it make manifolds look like brand new bare cast iron!!! I use this in a classic car dealership and it works great, with the exception that it does rub off on you if you touch it even after baking it on by running the car.

Product worked great, it was easy to apply and clean up and makes me wish I had found it earlier. Shipped immediately, had it in a few days.
