No more hot car. There is nothing worse than walking to your car getting in and it’s so hot you can’t catch your breath. I’ve gone through at least 4 of the foldable sun screens and reflection film always peels off getting all over the place. I absolutely hate them and then the seat is so hot it almost burns your skin. I’ve been saying for years somebody need to think of another way to solve this problem and somebody finally did!

I bought two. I measured my SUV’s and truck’s front window before ordering. I chose the large item size. Both fit perfectly. It covers the entire window of both vehicles. Very easy to install. I recommend opening the umbrella slowly and make contact with the upper corner of the window before snapping it into place. The umbrella goes in front (not behind) the rear view mirror. Once installed, move the two visors over it to hold. When not in use, the umbrella folds very small and comes with a protective case. It fits in my glove compartment. The shade umbrella is much better than the Old mylar, accordion folded, sun shade. The old Sun shade lost its stiffness, due to heat and many uses, and was difficult to install because it would not stay in place. In addition with my bad spine, I had to reach to the other side while holding the opposite side for it to stay. Very painful. Also, It required more storage space when not in use. I highly recommend the umbrella shade. Loved the price, too!

I ordered this for my 2023 Toyota Tacoma. I misjudged the size of the windshield. I ordered the larger 57" which ended up being too large to even force-fit. I also tried in our 2023 Toyota Rav4. It was still too wide, but it fit a bit better. In the Rav4 I was at least able to force-fit the shade and tuck it under the sun visors. As another reviewer mentioned, the sun shade is a little smelly at first, but it mostly came from the storage bag. I popped open the sun shade and left it in the living room for a day or two to air out. After that, I set it up in the Rav4 for a few hours of direct sun. When I came back and opened the door, I could still smell the "new car" smell, and not much of the chemical smell from the sun shade at all. The umbrella ribs are a little on the flimsy side, but pretty much what I expected from something so light. It collapses into a small size, not much bigger that the cheap emergency umbrella I keep in my roadside bag. It's also pretty easy to set up, once done a few times. I will definitely order this again when it goes back on sale, but in the smaller size this time!

Works great in the Texas sun on a Ford explorer. Stores nice in door, fits window all the way. One click an install. The only thing is after 8 hours in sun it extremely hot to touch when folding up. I would not think plastic would hold up in this sun and heat.

This sun shade does a good job reflecting sunlight and helping keep the interior cooler, and I appreciate the foldable design. However, the fit was a bit off on my windshield even with the smallest size and the edges feel slightly flimsy, so it doesn’t seal perfectly against sun in all areas. I also find the mirror opening to be repetitive.

This is perfect!!! it's just what I needed, perfect size, super easy to use and the best part, takes up so little space when not using, it's soo easy to put away until needed. folded up, it's the size of the small compact umbrellas, it essentially is that but without the concave shape, it just opens flat to fit the windshield, although it does have a slight curve to assist going around the rear-view mirror. I have used it two days in a row and the temp difference in the car is UNBEILVEABLE!! I no longer burn my skin on the black leather seats, I SOOOOO LOVE IT!!! I want to get one for everyone I know because it's so easy and convenient to use. the best part is the small storage space required, you can literally store it anywhere in the car, glove compartment, door pockets, under the seat, center council, really anywhere and still be within arms reach. this is PERFECT and I absolutely LOVE it. I can't say enough good about it, it's the best thing I have gotten for my car in a LONG time!!!

Great value. Works as described

I have owned three of these types over the last six years. The sun here in Colorado is hard on your vehicles in the summertime. The reason I gave this product only four stars is this, the metal black hinges bend & break. The end of the metal tips tear though. I used small pieces of black duct tape to cover the tips. The great thing about this shade is that it really helps keep out a lot of the heat from the sun. Also, I do not have to worry about the shade from cracking and spreading those flakes all over the inside of my car or truck. Finally the price is still right in my book.

Hyundai i20 I am happy with this product. It costs a little more, but its good quality and fits snugly. It took a little practice to learn how to open and close, but it works well, and I am very happy with the results.
