This book is great for newborns and very young babies because the high contrast images are easy for them to focus on. The pictures are bold and simple which keeps their attention longer than you would expect. Nice little book for tummy time or early reading.

Love this high contrast book for my newborn. Book is sturdy with thick pages which allows it to stand upright so perfect for tummy time. Pictures are so cute. Great price as well.

It’s a very simple black-and-white book for an infant
Purchase this as part of a baby gift. I wanted a black-and-white book for a newborn. The pictures are sharp and clear, the pictures are also very simple. I gave it four stars because it’s almost a little too simple. The good news is it is printed on thick cardboard, so it looks like it will hold up over time.

Great First Book for Baby. Captures His Attention!
I bought this high contrast board book for my 3 month old grandson, and he absolutely loves it! He’s at the stage where he likes to look around at everything, but this book really holds his attention. The bold black & white images are perfect for his developing vision, he stares at the pages intently while we read to him, which is so sweet to see. The book is sturdy, has rounded corners, and feels safe and durable for little hands. It’s a great way to introduce simple objects in a baby friendly way. I’d definitely recommend this for new parents or as a thoughtful baby shower gift. We’ll be checking out the other books in the series too!

Best for the first 3 months
This is one of our baby girls favourite book. She likes looking at the images and laughs and talks. We also have the other books from this collection.
