Good quality -do the job
These mudguards do exactly what they’re supposed to — they keep road spray off both me and the bike frame. I fitted them to a hybrid bike and the installation was straightforward, with all the fittings included. They feel solid and well-made, with no rattling once secured, and they’ve held up well through several wet commutes so far. The finish looks smart and hasn’t shown any signs of rust or wear. In short, they’re good-quality mudguards that perform as expected and make a noticeable difference in bad weather. Great value for money and would happily recommend them to anyone cycling year-round.

Effective Performance at a Great Price, but Installation Requires Patience
I recently installed the TAGVO Bike Mudguard Set on my 27.5-inch mountain bike and have been using it for a few weeks now. Overall, it delivers commendable performance, especially considering its price point. Pros: Effective Mud Protection: The widened half-circle design effectively prevents mud and rainwater from splashing, keeping me dry and clean during rides. Durable Build: The materials used feel sturdy, suggesting a long lifespan even with regular use. Adjustable Fit: The set is designed to fit 24 to 27.5-inch bikes, and the adjustability ensures a snug fit on various bike frames. Cons: Challenging Installation: The installation process was more complicated than anticipated. The instructions lacked clarity, and it took me over an hour to get everything properly set up. Once installed, the mudguards performed admirably, keeping debris at bay during my off-road adventures. For cyclists seeking an affordable and effective mudguard solution, the TAGVO set is a solid choice. However, be prepared to invest some time and patience during the installation process.

A good quality mudguard set.
Really good and easy to fit. The expanding bung method of securing the front mudguard into the hole in the underside of the forks works well although on the basis it is working against gravity, I decided to add a couple of tie wraps for added peace of mind. I used releasable black plastic tie wraps which provide a nice strong section but easy to remove if needed. The end result was very neat and unobtrusive. For info, I was fitting to 27.5" x 2.8" tyres and the overall fit was very good although I did add an extra mudflap to the rear mudguard just to ensure any spray would be minimised. For a tenner, I would highly recommend.

Look smart but not built to last.
Purchased these for the winter months and with very little cycling happening due to Covid didn't see much use. Fit easily enough and looked the part. My last ride happened in mid January however I had the opportunity to go out again a month later where on my ride the front mud flap decided to flyoff. After recovering it I found that the bracket had rusted and caused the front mudflap to become useless. Not sure if it rusted because I live near the sea or it's just poor quality but I would be reluctant to purchase again as the build quality doesn't seem to stand up.

Tricky to install, but effective
It feels a little cheap and flimsy, and the front mudguard wouldn't quite sit still on my Carrera Vengeance but I managed to have it stay in place with a couple of well placed zipties. The instructions are easy enough to follow despite the pretty poor translation. But despite some bad first impressions, I took it for a test in a nice and muddy mountain bike trail with plenty of puddles, and it worked surprisingly well! Hardly anything on my jacket, nothing in my face, all I had to wash were my trousers and shoes. Seems to have done a decent job keeping the mud off the chains and gears too.

This works but..
First off the main screw for the front Midgard assembly needed to be longer. I bought replacement M6 60mm bolts. Second, getting this off again isn’t simple. I managed by removing the bolt and the using a screwdriver to push the assembly up into the fork. I then had to keep prodding to separate the Enders from the main collar. I have modded the assembly by gluing the retaining nut to the expander, this way you only need to slacken the main bolt, and the then push it upwards to release the expander from the collar. it’s then a lot easier to pull out. This mudguard works with a suspension fork but it is ideal for rigid forks. As a bonus, I also managed to attach a front lamp to the forward facing slot on the mudguard mounting bracket. Make sure to have the bolt head on the inside so the rest of the bolt is pointing out.

Very useful, when you can’t fit standard mudguards.
I bought a new hybrid bike for my wife. I bought standard mudguards at the same time. The disc brakes fitted to the bike got in the way if the mudguard stays and so could not be fitted. This mud guard attached nicely inside the bed tube. Fitting was a little fiddly, but we ended up with effective mudguards wit good clearance. A further good point is you can alter the angle of the mudguard to suit your wheel size. 700C in our case.
