I used to use this, but the new metal container is different and less firm. I've looked everywhere for the old plastic container. is this it?

Does this contain Phthalates or Parabens?  Often manufacturers have it buried under the "fragrance" in the ingredients so it isn't obvious.

We do not use Diethyl phthalate (DEP), which is used to mix fragrance ingredients. Instead, we use other approaches to bring together fragrance ingredients. Question 4

My son is prone to Scalp Acne from most pomades. Does Axe Shine Pomade cause acne too or is it better than the others? Thanks!

In my 30s, I still break out easily from bad products in hair/skin. This hasnt been a problem at all with Axe.  But since it's so thick, I dont think it ever comes into contact with my scalp. You'd have to thin it out with water and work a ton of product in your hair to the ever reach the scalp.   If your son is under 20, please research on this product's safety in teens and young men. I've read articles that it can interfere with me testosterone. Could be BS, and the report may have only been for underarm products, but definitely worth checking into. If he hasn't tried garnier fructis products yet, I have nothing but good experiences with them. They're just too pricey
