Used these for my Christmas trees all holiday season & they worked great. Very easy to set up and link with my Alexa app. Had them on a timer to go on and off at a specific time each day; could also ask Alexa to turn them on/off easily. Now that the holidays are over I will definitely use them for other lamps and gadgets in my home. Overall I recommend these smart plugs.

As a connoisseur of decorative LED lighting, these smart plugs are an absolute essential for my home. Setup & pairing is very simple & requires no hidden subscription or additional cost. The app integrates seamlessly with Alexa so new devices are automatically added & can be controlled with voice commands. The only downside is the width of the devices, making them difficult to use with horizontal outlet splitters though they work wonderfully with vertical surge protectors. TreatLife is always my go to brand for quality, affordable smart home devices.

Another great Treatlife product! Perfect for the Christmas Tree! I couldn’t be happier with this Magnetic Remote Control Outlet! It’s incredibly easy to use right out of the box—just plug it in, and you’re good to go. No programming or tools required, which was a huge relief because my mom uses it and she is not tech savvy. I’ve been looking for one of these for a long time and this is perfect! The magnetic remote is a game-changer. I love that it sticks securely to my fridge, so it’s always within reach. I originally purchased the Amazon's Smart Plug through a promotion, and later purchased the Treatlife Smart Plug 4 Pack to replace all my old manual timers for our indoor and outdoor Christmas lights. So glad I did!! The Amazon Smart plug works great, easy to set up, but way too expensive. I had some issues setting up the Treatlife smart plugs; however, after I got them online, it was easy to configure my routines or schedules in the Treatlife app. I like the Treatlife app better than the Amazon's Alexa app; BUT, in order to use Alexa you're stuck with Amazon. Beyond the initial setup, the Treatlife Smart Plugs are convenient, a great value, a little smaller than Amazon plugs, and they work great with Alexa. Again, the setup could be easier. I've had some incidents where plugs (lights) turn on beyond routines. (Hey, why is the downstairs light on in the middle of the night!) Also, plugs won't fit inside outside bubble outlet box (I guess it's not intended for exterior use). Overall, I highly recommend.

Quick review (just got them). Spent 45 mins trying to connect the smart plugs to the "Treatlife" app. Couldn't get them to pair. So, watched a YouTube video that made all the difference. The instructions that came with the plugs ask you to download "Treatlife" but in reality you must download "Smart Life". Once I downloaded the correct app, they paired immediately!! Got two set up in the bedroom in less than 10 mins and paired with the Alexa app. When you open the Alexa app, it will "see" the devices already and download a skill for them. Then, you complete the details (rename the plug, indicate if it's a light or not, etc., add to a group). Easy! I wasted a lot of time with the wrong app. The pack comes with 4 plugs and got them paired quickly and installed. This is cost-effective because you get 4 plugs for (I paid) $27. Just be sure to download the Smart Life app before you get started. Then, the instructions aren't necessary - the app pretty much does it on its own. Maybe the instructions are outdated, don't know. Recommend them so far. We'll see what happens over time. Updated: struggling to keep them connected. Had to reset several of them a few times. They keep going offline. Starting to get frustrating. I guess you get what you pay for. Alexa keeps asking me to identify them because they go offline and I have to restart them. Lowering the star rating to one!

Very helpful device as Christmas lights timer and all Christmas electrical decorations

I have a few smart plugs already. And I needed two more for my garage. Treatlife has become my go to brand for smart switches, plugs and dimmers. I don’t even shop around anymore; I just look for Treatlife products. Some of the other ones I have take up both of the plugs in the socket because they are big. This one takes up only one plug and leaves the other plug free. I also have a few outlets with USB chargers built into the plug and this switch allows me to use them as well. Some others will block the usb outlets. (See Picture) I wanted to control the overhead lights I have in my workshop/garage with voice commands. I have three overhead lights in various locations. One is currently controlled by a Treatlife three way wifi switch. The other two are controlled by pull chains. Now instead of the pull chains, I can control them with voice commands via Alexa. If you don’t have Alexa, you can use your phone to control them as well. I set them up in a group with Alexa and I can turn one light on or off at a time or all three at once. Many of times I have left the shop light on at the far end of the garage. Now instead of walking to the back of the garage (I am an old fart), I can simply tell Alexa to turn them off from anywhere in my house that Alexa can hear me from. Or, I can use the app on my phone. Sometimes when I pull out of my driveway, I notice I left the lights on in the garage, I can use my phone and either use the Alexa app or the Treatlife app to turn them off without going back into the house. The set up was easy: Download the Treatlife app Plug the smart plug into the wall Follow the steps in the app and in a few minutes, you will be controlling a plug with your voice or phone. I purchased the 4 pack as I plan to use them in other lamps in my house. I plan to use one for my bedroom night stand light. This way, I can turn on my bedroom light before I enter the dark bedroom and also, I can turn it off when lying in bed. And if I have to get up when it is dark out, I can tell Alexa to turn on the light without fishing for the lamp switch. There are plenty of uses for these plugs. They will control anything up to 400 watts.
