Didn't even boot up
Just received today, plugged into wall, hooked up HDMI to TV, turned on. Blue led light came on then went off. Tried different plugs, always same, led blue light came on then went off, would not boot up, waited like 10 minutes for it to boot up NOTHING! Also no Windows Activation card was enclosed in box as shown on MINIS FORUM site. Don't guess I would have needed it since it wouldn't even boot up. What a disappointment. RETURNED SAME DAY AS RECEIVED. Going on hunt again for ONE THAT WORKS!!!! My photo shows a windows activation card that should have been in box. IT WASN'T!!!!! UPDATE: 2-28-20: I received another mini pc from the seller yesterday free of charge. I plugged it in and BINGO it worked like a charm. I was so surprised, I was up and running in minutes. Windows came on, and no activation key was needed plus no watermark on screen. I also attached my printer and it worked perfectly printing out several pages of tests. The little PC was actually very fast and connected to the internet very quickly. The seller sent several emails to make certain I had a PC that actually worked. I certainly appreciate the promptness and courtesy shown by the seller. I don't think anyone would go wrong in purchasing from this seller as they are just fantastic. I highly recommend them! Thank you for a wonderful product. Up dated to 5 stars and photo of new little PC.

Has its quirks (but it does work)
The answer is YES - this is a legit Windows 10 Pro PC for $100-something dollars. And YES it does work well given the price point... a family member of mine has a PC that is about 7 years old and this thing blows it away in terms of speed and reliability. That's because this thing is completely solid state - no moving parts whatsoever. If you're going to buy this I suggest you be a PC/Windows power-user, or have access to a Windows power-user... because it can be quirky to set-up and maintain. For example... when you have to reboot (and you will) the system can hang. It's an easy fix to boot (remove the HDMI monitor cable, and/or the dongle for your keyboard/mouse and it will boot) but you can't expect Grandma to do that every time the system requires a restart. Strengths... it's tiny and super light in weight. You could attach this to the back of a TV (bracket included) or hide it almost anywhere. It's 100% quiet (no moving parts). It runs very well for regular tasks (perfect for youtube, streaming HD video, browsing the web, word processing, simple games etc). I'm using it as client for my media server so I can watch any of my HD content on my bedroom tv. It however has its limitations... NO, you won't be able to run newer 3D games or 4k video or other high-end tasks without any issues... this is a basic Windows 10 PC, not a power-PC, don't buy it expecting it to be anything more than basic. Cons: -Runs warm... the outer box is always warm to the touch, especially when the CPU is being taxed. That's to be expected because there are no fans, but the longevity of the product concerns me because of this. -Quirky... as mentioned above, you need to have some basic PC and Windows knowledge to own this because it tends not to be "plug and play". Yes, they offer advice and help via their online forums, but to be honest they default to that way too much ("Check the forums... ask on the forums"). There really should be a standard FAQ or User's Manual you can reference, you shouldn't have to rely on asking questions online to get answers to basic operations problems or questions. -Storage... with a low volume solid-state system drive, you're going to want to invest in a decent sized SD card (supports up to 128GB) to store files on. -Sleep... mine will sleep if I tell it to sleep, but will NOT enter sleep mode on its own (I set the power options to sleep after 30 mins). They tell you on their forums not to worry about sleep mode because "this PC consumes a very little amount of energy" but that's nonsense to me, any PC should sleep or be shutdown when not in use, no matter how little energy it consumes when its turned on. I'll be adding a media remote to this PC so I can manually tell this item to sleep and wake-up, because something in this set-up is preventing it from sleeping when it's automatically supposed to. Other concerns I've read: "Don't let windows update itself" - I didn't find this to be true... when Windows 10 updates itself and needs to reboot you may need to pull your monitor cable and keyboard dongle out to get it to boot, but it accepts all the Windows updates (so far). -"It's not a full copy of Windows 10" - well yes and no it isn't... you don't get a disk and registration key with this PC to use wherever you please... but the copy of Windows 10 Pro that is installed on this PC is indeed FULL and LEGIT and AUTHORIZED. If you need to start clean their forums will direct you to the software and provide you with a registration key... but this copy of Windows 10 is tied to this PC. So no, you don't get a full copy of Windows 10 to use however or wherever you please, but yes, the copy of Windows 10 installed on this PC is FULL and AUTHORIZED. I am very happy with my purchase so far, and think if you know your way around a PC and Windows and can deal with a few quirks here and there, that you will be happy with purchasing this as well... especially at this price. 3/2021 Update, after one year of use: going stronger than when I got it. Still has accepted every single update Microsoft has thrown at it. They sometimes take a little while to process, but no update has โbrokenโ my system. In fact an update about 8 months ago somehow fixed the reboot problem where you had to remove the monitor cable. It now reboots every time like a champ without having to pull any cables. Runs/streams kodi 19 and 1080p content to my bedroom tv a few hours a week and works better than when i bought it.

Update
2nd Update: I mostly use MS Office 365. It came already loaded, but the app version. That's why all the glitches and the slowness. I downloaded the full versions from MS and it works flawlessly and fast. There's not enough processing speed to keep up with edits and keep an open connection. I dl'd Chrome and Firefox for web browsing since those are both safe and fast. Everything is working well, but there's very little space for the hard drive. This is key. I had a portable drive and used settings to dl and install everything on that drive, but it's conventional HDD. I don't have a USB device that's big enough or fast enough to replace it, so I ordered the Samsung SSD portable from Amazon. It'll be here on 1/25 and I'll update after I've installed it and configured everything to use it. Conventional HDD's go to sleep (do they get bored?) and cause even more glitches. I'm hoping that an SSD will wake up and perform fast enough to not notice the lag. Even with the conventional HDD, I'd recommend this. It's Windows 10 Pro 64 bit...AND a full computer. You can't even get Win 10 for less than $189 (since they stopped supporting Win 7, the prices soared; that's what caused all this) by itself, so it's still a deal. I wish I could migrate this to my 5yo Dell, which still performs faster. I tried ISO'ing the drive but the bootmgr resides in flash memory within the Mini PC and I wasn't willing to tear it apart. Update: The amount of bloatware on this is unbelievable! It might be able to function, except it's running so many programs that I can't stop. It has 5 different processes for Skype and there's not even a camera. I can't even find Skype to uninstall it. It's unbelievably slow. Don't know what anyone would want this for. I was trying to play YouTube videos, something my Roku can do flawlessly on my tv. It kept skipping, even though it was getting over 128KB/sec WiFi. That's plenty enough to run a 4k movie without buffering. But the CPU was clocking over 113%...to play a video on a website. Embarrassing. Just got it yesterday. I must wait until it finishes updating to properly assess it. Shouldn't be more than another day or two...at this rate. Internet connection is NOT the problem. Downloads FAST. Then must install......

Great product for what it is designed for
This is a great product when used as it is designed. This is not a replacement for a regular PC or laptop. It is a small form PC for situational use. I have several of these installed in classrooms for teacher use. They mount cleanly behind a wall mount flat screen monitor and are capable of running slide shows or videos with no problems. They connect to WiFi and can be remotely managed which keeps me from needing a keyboard and monitor constantly connected. We usually just need a presenter remote for the teacher to advance slide/play videos. I have been running these for a couple of years now and have not had to replace any of them. Pay attention to the notes above about the Software Distribution folder. Because of the small drive, I have had a couple of problems with Windows Updates where I had to clear out this folder. Overall, this product is a terrific value.

Don't buy this. Cheap for a reason.
DON'T BUY THIS. I bought this minisforum mini pc to use as a streaming device in a craft room. We just wanted something simple to stream Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc while my wife and I work on our many crafts. I did my research, even looked specifically at the negative reviews, but decided to get it anyway. It was cheap and sounded like there were some potential problems but that it would more than likely be good. I was wrong. It set up easy, Windows was working, and I installed our browsers and bookmarks. Boot up was pretty fast. Then we shut it down through Windows and after that it all went to hell. It never booted up normally again. It took forever to boot up, then said there was a problem and needed to reset, then it would do it again. It took forever to boot up every time. Hours. I left it overnight, turned the screen back on, and found it still doing it. Reset with the hard reset button, went through the boot menu, went on the minisforum site to find many people having this problem. The company support people said that there was an update it needed, and told people to download and install it. On machines that won't boot up. If they knew it needed this update, they should have done it themselves. I'm done with this product and company, and returned it after spending twice as many hours as it was worth. I bought an ACEPC T11 instead, and have had no such problems so far after a month of use. If you are thinking about getting this mini pc, do yourself a favor and don't ignore the negative reviews - it is too risky to waste your time and money on a product that arrives unusable more often than it should.
