Sleeping: Music for Efficient Sleep

Last night I put this CD in to test its therupeutic value. The music compiled on this disc alone is enough reason to purchase it. It serves as a good introduction to traditional Chinese music, and each piece is stunning. However, those who sometimes find it difficult to wind-down at the end of the day enough for bed will find this album to be a must-have! The peaceful compositions have a lulling effect and put me to sleep easily, even though I normally cannot fall asleep to music. I woke up in the middle of the night last night because of some pain, and this album was able to soothe me back to sleep despite the presence of pain.Highly recommended as both an introduction to traditional Chinese music or as a sleep aid!

nice music but I prefer more mellow for sleep

Have trouble falling asleep at night?? You won't after purchasing the Sleeping Music for Efficient Sleep CD. . . I play this CD every night and I drift off to a peaceful and restful sound sleep. and wake up feeling refresh. . . I highly recommend this CD if you have trouble falling and staying asleep throughout the night. . however, I do not recommend playing this CD in your car. . . for home use only. . . .

Just noise. No music. Insomnia inducing

Every night, I play this CD softly with an automatic shut off after 30 minutes.The first few nights I used this CD, I fell asleep AFTER 30 minutes....but now, I have learned to fall asleep a lot faster...within a few minutes!!Seemed that I have conditioned myself to fall asleep as soon as I hear this beautiful music.... Great !!

I was looking for Tai Chi music and already own several Tai Chi and Qi Gong CDs. Most, however, are a little too lively or rhythmic for me and are sometimes distracting because of it. This CD is perfect for Tai Chi! It's slow, pacific and doesn't interfere with my concentration yet sets the mood. And no, I never was inclined to fall asleep while practicing. I highly recommend it for Tai Chi or Qi Gong background music

Very relaxing.

Don't know how, but listening to this is the BEST way to relax and fall asleep. I have been using this for over a year now - never get tired of it (no pun intended) - and it keeps on working for me! What more could you ask for? Sleep, wonderful sleep!
