Excellent value for money (a year on update)
Update after more than a year of use The camera may be old but, after a year of use, I decided to update the review because I actually grew very fond of it. The camera offers an amazing value for money and a rich set of features. The other positive reviews cover the gist. It is very reliable and well made. I never had any issue with it and it survived a couple of hard falls at speed on tarmac. During daylight, the video is clear even at the low resolutions and the colours bright and pleasant. Lots of settings to play with and get the desired results whether it's video, photos or slow mo etc. The killer feature for me were the two batteries and the dual charger. That would give me more than two full hours of solid video recording, which matters to me. It also comes with an extensive set of mounts and adapters covering very different uses. It's also easy to attache it on some gopro mounts which was useful for me as I had a set of 3d printed custom mounts and the transition was seamless. For the record, I had two complains: One was solved after a bit of experimentation and it was that I would often stop the camera unknowingly by touching the screen. I figured out that when you have lock enabled AND start the recording with the button instead works perfectly as it will only stop the recording by pressing the button. The second was that it would lose the date/time when left without batteries an issue. This may be solved by their support, in which case I will update. Finally, the communications I had with the company regarding had been top quality indicative of a top notch support.

Awesome Action Cam
Hi Folks! I do a lot of outdoor adventures ( Long distance hiking, Kayak Touring, EMTB / Bike Packing etc. ) I've always taken my Sony RX100 to take stills but, thought I'd start recording videos for social media etc.. and wanted an action cam that would get me started and wouldn't break the bank. I didn't want to spend Gopro money to find I found the video thing a faff. So, I did some research and cheeked out reviews online and saw that the Akaso brand was one of the best at a more budget friendly price. I finally went for the Brave 7 LE for a paddling trip 85 miles down the river Wye, Wales, UK to see what I could capture on video. WOW! I have to say I'm blown away by the image quality ( All shot at 4K 30FPS wide angle ). It really does look quite amazing once down loaded onto my lap top. Sound quality is also good, both internal and ( YES! now included on the LE ) external mic. It's picked up my voice very well from being attached on the front of my 14ft kayak. And did a decent job of picking up background noise too. The touch screen and interface are very easy to use and not complicated at all. The wristed strap remote worked well ( Included ) as long as you pointed it at the camera. Which is really handy because I couldn't reach it from where it was mounted. The app seems to work as well. Although I only tested that at home. Image stabilization works well on a kayak. Even on class 2 rapids! After down loading and using Clip Champ ( very easy to work out after about an hour of playing with it ) I've managed to create a very good 1st video of one of my adventures. I'm so impressed with the Brave 7 LE I will deffo be buying at least one or two more brave 7's or 8's to capture different angles of my up and coming adventures. Which will enhance video experience and content. Pro's Wallet friendly 4k Action Cam Front and rear screen Lots of mounts and accessories x2 Batteries Remote control wrist strap Very easy to use Quality Image Good stabilization Good sound recording Waterproof Not a £350.00 Gopro Hero 10 Con's The "beep" could be louder Not a £350.00 Gopro Hero 10 In all, I'm very impressed with Akaso Brave 7LE and am happy to buy a few more in the Akaso range for future video capture. If you want a great wallet friendly action cam look no further. Happy Trails.. M

Very good action camera
The first thing I noticed is how solid it is being made of high quality materials and not cheap flimsy plastic. It has a decent bit of weight for such a small camera as well. I charged the batteries, put one in with an Akaso 64gb micro SD card. Video quality is very good with several effects that you can select - normal, warm, natural, brightness contrast, black and white, and negative. I particularly like the brightness contrast with it's saturated colours and increased contrast. The stabilisation is not quite as good as GoPro but it's still fairly good. The internal microphone records at a slightly lower volume than I would like but it isn't a problem for me. I have purchased the akaso lavalier external microphone and will test it out when it arrives. Photographs are good and will be more than decent enough for me. The on/off button is - I think intentionally - quite stiff and you need to press and hold. This will prevent accidental power on incidents. The menu system is easy to get used to with a mode button to the left of the record button. I should also say that the akaso app is excellent once you have paired with the brave 7 le. The initial pairing took a few attempts - probably my fault - but no problems afterwards when I connect to the camera. The app works very well for downloading to my pixel 8 pro. At this price you are getting a great action camera.

AKASO Brave 7 LE Action Camera - Great customer service
I'd considered getting an action camera for a number of years, but had always talked myself out of it. I couldn't justify spending Go Pro prices in case I lost it or misplaced it - I'm a nightmare for losing thinkings. I finally took the plunge and went for AKASO Brave 7 LE Action Camera based on reviews and the price point. I wasn't worried about amazing quality but wanted something to record my paddleboard adventures, so that I could share them with my wife - she's not as mobile due to long term illness, but this would mean she could still get the enjoyment of the river or sea paddles. After using the camera for the past year, the video quality has been great and the built in microphone has been acceptable. I've used the camera both with and without the case and the camera has functioned fine - if anything on really hot days the camera has felt slightly hotter when in the case. The remote is a nice touch and really handy for starting and ending recordings. There are numerous accessories that come with the camera to suit different sports. The dual batteries are a nice touch as well and I've found the battery life is adequate. The only thing that I'd say is a must and highly recommend is to get a camera float - I learnt the hard way. I had an issue where the mount failed and my camera sunk to the bottom and I couldn't find it. However, Akaso's customer service was exceptional and exceeded my expectations - after speaking with them they offered to replace the camera , and they sent me a replacement out, so can't fault them in any way.

Akaso Brave 7 LE - Brilliant - packs a punch
I wanted to upgrade from my basic action camera but still didn’t feel I could justify the cost of the mainstream brand. I saw this, watched some reviews and thought it must be too good to be true for the money (but then that would have meant all of the reviews were wrong.) I decided to give it ago and see for myself and I wasn’t disappointed. Simple to use and navigate. Build quality is excellent, accessories galore and comes with two batteries and a charger. Image and video quality is fantastic compared to what I was used to and for someone who just wants to record and enjoy holiday trips and days out, this provides excellent footage. The main test will be when we go on our regular safari game drive holiday early next year and it’s mounted to our car over rough terrain - an added benefit is that I don’t need to worry about the chance of rain and putting it inside it’s case. I’m yet to try out the waterproof capacity without the case when swimming but to be honest, I’d probably use the case anyway for that added protection. A word of advice though - don’t make the mistake I made initially. I watched some footage back on the camera and was dissatisfied with the sound and video quality. Once you view/download onto your phone, tablet or computer etc, all your worries will go away. Obviously the speaker and screen on the camera can only do so much. I don’t know how Akaso have packed so much into something so small and kept the price down. Whilst those more professional than me may see the difference against top end models, 99% of people like me will just love this.

Very impressed.
Having had chance to play with my ‘Akaso Brave 7 LE at the weekend, i must say I’m really impressed with it. This is my first action cam, so i don’t have anything to compare it to, but i chose this model mainly for the dual screens, which i figured would be useful. Image quality at 4K 30fps is certainly good enough for my efforts. Bright, with well balanced colours. I haven’t used the other settings yet. I bought it mainly to use on my bike for cycling adventure videos. I was concerned about image stabilisation mounted on the handlebars, but i have not been disappointed. Seems pretty stable to me. Sound wise it seems reasonable. I may need to tweak a few settings. Photo quality is as good as your gonna get from a tiny sensor. But i own a mirrorless camera. I didn’t buy it for photos. So all in all a cracking little camera for the price. I’ve just checked and it’s now £22 cheaper than what i paid. A bit annoying, but i can’t grumble really. Especially when you look at the accessories you get with it. There’s a mount for every conceivable purpose, altho I’m using a little ball head clamp for the bike. But the two best bonuses are, the wrist band remote control, which is very useable and handy. And the underwater case. I’m no diver, but I’ve got uses figured for this already. These accessories alone would cost £60+ for the likes of a GoPro. I can see me having a lot of fun with this. Along with mastering editing, I’ve got plenty to keep me occupied for the year.

Good quality/price
It's a good product for the price it costs. Could have a better image resolution. But it's quite user-friendly

A favore o pregi: Estremamente compatta e solida.
