Cissus Quadrangularis Xtreme 1600mg - 120 Capsules

This product absolutely works. I did alot of running/wrestling in college where I ended up tearing both of my Patella (knee) Tendons. This is the huge tendon that is right on top of the knee cap. I can walk just fine, but running caused me a significant amount of pain. Surgery was required, and I got one open surgery on my right knee, a later scope cleanup, and another scoped surgery on my left knee. Even after years, and I do mean years, of rehab and strength conditions, I still had paid when running. Even with good shoes and orthodonics. Enter this product. The Cissus Quadrangularis (allegedly) has tendon repair properties. So I tried this product, which I believe calls for 2 pills in the morning, and 2 at night. After 2-3 weeks of it getting into my system, I found myself able to run more and more each day. After about a month, I could run as far as my lungs could take me. It's important to note that this product is NOT like Advil -- you can't just take it when you are hurting. You need to take it everyday so its in your system. I can't get this enough stars. And I know it's still working because there have been times I have gone off of it, yet still continued my hard/long runs. The result after a week? The same old knee pain. I'm basically on this for life as long as I keep up my long runs, but that's fine, this stuff is really cheap.

As a recent sufferer of dual patellar tendon ruptures I sought, (and I am still seeking) novel, "cutting edge" methods to improve my recovery and healing time. I'm not sure if this product is anything more than the placebo effect at work, but as we are learning, the placebo effect is real, and works. I take two of these every morning and my recovery is going incredibly well. I do many hours of rehab every week and also use other healing methods both traditional and non-traditional but this supplement is a constant. Take it, it can't hurt, and at $18/month (if you take 2 every day) it's affordable as well.

I had wrist pain starting in fall of 2015. I lift weights on a regular basis and was able to keep lifting but I was definitely experiencing pain in my wrist. I took a break during a long vacation at the end of November/beginning of December and by new years my wrist was feeling much better. A couple days after new years I was carrying an extension ladder when I tweaked my wrist and the pain was back and worse than ever. By the end of January the pain was so bad and constant that I stopped lifting weights completely. Even with rest the pain seemed to get worse. Normally I would never try a supplement/herbal remedy. But I was willing to try anything because I wanted to get back into the gym and just be rid of the pain as well. I was skeptical but for $16 I thought it was worth the risk. After about 5-6 days of taking this supplement the pain was gone for good. I continued to take it for a couple weeks. That was over 2 months ago and the pain hasn't come back. The coincidence was too strong for me to think it was something else that caused my pain to go away. It was this supplement. I highly recommend it.

Started using this brand since it was cheap, but realized weeks later that my pain in my back had come back and the only thing I'd done differently, was take this. So, I decided after remembering I had a ziplock bag or Vitajing Cissus in my freezer, I started taking a teaspoon of that instead. Within an hour, my pain level subsided so much. I wondered why the protonix brand was a white powder, and decided I wanted a dried plant that had a color to it and no fillers unless it was bioperine to help an herb work to it's fullest potential. I take that along with all of my other herbs. I have started growing Cissus and the stem part is a triangular green succulent looking plant. It grows leaves at each juncture or joint like a cactus look. I'll send a pic along here if I can do it. Never have before. I like to grow the plants I use, so decided to try this one. I'll have to bring it in soon. I tincture all of my plants in alcohol unless it is a hard woody like substance like licorice root. Those need to be in a low water temp for awhile to get the constituents out of it, then I also place that root into alcohol in case there is any other constituent that needs to be pulled from plant in that way. Later on, I mix the two together. That's not important for you I suppose, but, I got on a roll there for a minute ! Anyway, it sure will take awhile for that plant to reach a great enough quantity to use, but I wanted to try. Also there are plants that do best grown in their native soils, meaning they have more potent and wider range of the chemicals within the plant than if grown elsewhere. I'm not a chemist, so I can't check them . But at least I know if I grow them, that they are free from toxic chemicals, fillers, non plant matter, etc. I do buy a lot of dried though. So, if this brand works for you, that's great. Keep taking it. Three stars for price and quick delivery.

I am 70 year old male. I have used other Cissus preparations (very so-so). This Absonutrix works. This stuff is not just for youngsters but works wonders on sore knees, hips, shoulders, wrists, backs, etc., for "us of mature age". Way safer than ibuprofen or other NSAIDS, I think. I read that NSAIDS seriously interfere with highly complex body healing and repair systems. I want to thank the young (and old) body builders for finding out about this stuff. If you have pain, take the full dose, two capsules every 12 hours. Larger doses are not needed. I tried three capsules every 12 hours for a few days but this did not seem to increase healing speed or reduce pain meaningfully. Subjectively this stuff really helps healing and reduces pain over time. Some people find it ineffective, but if this material helps you you will know it in time to order another jar. (Jar lasts for 30 days.) This is not ibuprofen. It does not "kick in". It helps healing. It does not kill pain "like magic". It is my opinion that one should not use Cissus concurrently with NSAIDs (not even aspirin).

I do not know the scientific legitimacy or research of Cissus for reducing joint pain, but I believe this product works well. It may take a couple weeks to "kick in'. I'm an avid weight lifter and experiened some twinges and soreness in my right elbow. After a few weeks of this nagging pain, I decided to try this product. After about 2-3 weeks of taking this every day, the pain significantly decreased.The dosing requires two caps in the morning, and two caps in the evening. The pill itself is average in size, and does not leave any aftertaste/wierd breath. The price of this product is very good IMO.

I did a lot of reading trying to find something that would work on my joint pain. If you don't know already, glucosamine chondroitin has never been shown to have any effect at all. I kept hearing about cissus. So I tried this one because of the price and the dosage. All I can say is I don't know how it works, but it does. Years and years of using GC, shark cartilage, calcium citrate, and others trying to find something that worked on my sore joints and lower back. Cissus is what I've been looking for all these years. I just wish my arthritic mother could have tried this before she passed away. I'm an old, beat up veteran with years of abuse on my bones and joints and this stuff WORKS. I noticed a difference literally in 2 days of taking it, two caps, twice a day. Try it.
