Scentball Plug in Electric Diffuser

I'm new to aromatherapy and have been testing out an Aura Cacia diffuser in my car to relax me while I'm driving. So far, it has been helping me heal from a car accident caused by a drunk driver. This diffuser works extremely well for the price. The Aura Cacia brand is the same design/concept they just charge more for the brand name so I decided to buy this one due to high consistent reviews and low price. I'm currently using this alongside NOW Essential Oils and the diffuser never gets too hot. If you leave it in accidentally while you're off at work, school, etc. there's nothing to worry about since it's very low heat. My lavender oil seems to last forever and these pads hold the scent in for a long time. It does take up a lot of space when it is plugged in. I have no complaints other than it does take up a lot of space on my outlet. This is one of the best diffusers you can get for the price.

These are garbage. On day 1, they worked without fail. The rooms I had them plugged into smelled fresh and clean like the essential oils I had used with them. I unplugged them and left them unplugged over the weekend as we wouldn't be home. This morning, using a fresh pad, I placed 4 drops of oil and plugged them both in. Nothing... No scent to the rooms at all. Tried a couple hours later, again, using 6 drops of oil and again.. nothing. Very disappointing purchase. I wouldn't suggest purchasing.

I use this when we travel and in my classroom and have been impressed with the strength of the scent it gives off. I do use a high grade essential oil so that might have a lot to do with it, but I started by using 3 drops in my classroom and it was too strong if you stood within 15 feet of the plug in. The scent dissipates the farther you are from it and lasts about 3-4 hours. I only use 1-2 drops now. I have used the same insert pad several times now, maybe 12-15 times, and don't see a need to change it yet. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it would last longer, but I would buy it again.

Overall a decent product that does work. The plug-in does get very hot, so I won't be using it overnight again! It takes quite a bit of oil - I put 4 drops and didn't smell anything, then added 5 more and it smelled great :) I tried using it in my daughter's room overnight - I put 15 drops of a bedtime blend and it smelled wonderful! I checked a few hours later, and it still smelled great and her bedroom is very big. But in the morning I went to unplug it and it was very hot...so I'll go back to the diffuser at night. Kinda disappointed because I bought a few of these to put throughout the house - and now I'll have to be sure and unplug them after about 5 hours or so, just to be safe.

Work well initially but the pads need to be replaced often and this adds up. With a pre-lit red tree at holiday time, I want the holiday scents of a real tree. This doesn't work long enough to do the trick. I now use URPOWER 2nd Version Essential Oil Diffuser and while it must be refilled, that is not an issue.

I'm very pleased with this product. This is my second order. I've seen reviews that complained that the aroma is short lived. I'd suggest getting better quality essential oils. With 8 to 10 drops on the pad, I get a good aroma all day, with a hint in the air well into the night. I use Eden Garden oils, which are reasonably priced and pure oil. I should also add that different essential oils have a different rate of evaporation. Citrus oils tend to evaporate quickly as well as most evergreen tree oils. To experience these longer, try them in oil blends. Black Spruce is much longer lasting evergreen. It has a wonderful Christmas tree type of aroma. I like to use it during the holidays at a ratio of 10 drops of spruce oil, with 1 drop each of cinnamon bark and clove oil. It gives the house a very pleasant Christmas aroma.

I did exactly what the product listing described, and the result was very poor. Scent was overwhelming for first hour then nothing for remaining day(s). At this rate I would have to refill the pad every day - and go thru the same ratio problems (too much scent , then too little). Not to mention the amount of pads I would use. This product does NOT perform as advertised and is not work the purchase price, in my opinion. Returned it for refund after two days.

The best thing about this Scent Ball is that it does the scent does not last a long time. Sometimes I think I'm in the mood for a particular oil but then change my mind - so this, that only lasts less than a day, is perfect. I usually use tea tree oil, Wyndmere "Breathe Easy," or any of the mints and the diffuser delicately permeates the entire bottom floor of my house. Directions say to switch pads when switching oils but I never do - consequently my house is scented with a blend of many oils. This diffuser is small and simple to use.
