The differentiating factor between thai curries at home and in restraunts
Tiparo's fish sauce is a standard fish sauce in many east asian households, and for a good reason as well! Some use Red Boat, but sone prefer a slightly inexpensive version such as the tiparo's. Fish sauce has a very strong smell, but once added into a dish, it's very mild and imparts that wonderful umami flavor. For those who like thai curries or and asian preparations, trust me, fish sauce makes a big difference. It's why the curry you make at home doesn't quite taste like the one you eat at a restaurant! 2 tablespoons is all it takes to make the perfect thai curry! Do give this fish sauce a try!

Well this is a decent fish sauce in this price range. Considering that it is not an ingredient of Indian cuisine, it’s difficult to find it in just any shop and so i had to opt for amazon. I haven’t really tried any ‘authentic’ fish sauce yet, but from what i’ve read and heard bout the flavor, this one DOES smell like fermented fish😂 the odor might be overwhelming for some, so you know this is real. Although the color is light, like black tea, so i think there could be better ones out there but expensive for us. I can handle a much stronger and pungent flavor, so i’ll keep searching. But try this if you’re new and if the strong fishy smell makes you puke lmao. I’m soon going to try kimchi with this.
