It is very good for the prize. This is the second one I bought the same. I bike pretty constantly 5 thousand Km per year and the last one lasted 2 years until it crumbled. 10 thousand K is not bad for using my bike rain and shine, summer and winter and leaving the bike outside all the time. Bracket replacement can be a bit tricky the first time. One needs the right tools. I can do it now in a hour: remove the pedal arms also with a special tool, then remove the old bracket with the tool tightly attached (using a washer), then remove the old bracket. Clean everything nicely out, add the new bracket and then attach again the pedal arms.

Piece of cake!
The BB on my 1996 Giant mountain bike wasn't bad but I felt like doing some maintenance and upgrades. After following some Youtube videos, I felt confident enough to change the old one with this new one. If you don't have one, you'll need a crank arm puller which isn't that expensive but necessary to have. Luckily, none of the threads were frozen so removal was rather easy. After cleaning out the BB shell, reassembly was straightforward and easy. The whole project took about 45 minutes. When everything was buttoned up, I took the bike for a test ride. I was impressed by how smoothly the crank turned and the bike seemed to have a new life. You'll need some grease for the threads plus a 20-tooth spline to unscrew/re-tighten the cups.

Great sealed BB for my '90's 26" hard tail. Still my go to bike for running errands. Shimano quality all the way around. As you can see it has square tapered shaft. Perhaps old and outdated but my crank-set has never failed me and the original Shimano lasted over 20 years. Awesome!

Good Bottom Bracket
Good bottom bracket bearing, true to size. Aluminum cups, one with thread lock. I used aluminum anti sieze on the cups mounting into my steel frame.

Robusto e leggero
Acquistato per sostituire il movimento centrale con ghiere in plastica di una gravel poiché dopo 1500 km ha cominciato a traballare, neanche un serraggio ha risolto. Le ghiere in alluminio sono un altro pianeta, molto più robuste, ho effettuato la sostituzione in meno di 20 minuti. Mi raccomando usate il grasso bianco durante il montaggio.
