Wonderful Smart Light Bulbs for Those on a Budget!
Smart light bulbs have been something I've always wanted to invest in, so once I got an Alexa for Christmas, I figured it was the perfect time to make that dream a reality. I searched the internet for cheap candelabra smart bulbs, not wanting to pay the $40 for one Hue bulb ALONGSIDE the Hue bridge for an additional $30-$40. Finding a set of three smart light bulbs for $10 cheaper was like a dream come true, especially since I have 3 bulbs in my bedroom light. Why pay $40+ for 1 Hue light bulb when I can pay $30 for 3? When I first received them in the mail I was honestly surprised how small they were. This isn't a bad thing, as I have small lights and they don't stick out awkwardly! I followed the instructions that were provided with my bulbs and installed the app on my phone. (Someone stated in a review that they did not get any instructions, so maybe they fall out of boxes?) What's really nice is that they don't need an Alexa or a Google Home to work and you can easily control them through the app, which is updated often so your bulbs will always be kept up to date! My only suggestion for the app is to add a Grouping feature so I can group my three bedroom lights and turn all three of them on at once or set them all to the same color without having to ask Alexa to change them to the basic colors she can recognize. I am planning to add at least one more bulb to my collection in another room, so having a feature that would allow me to control two separate rooms with multiple bulbs in them would be wonderful! Both the yellow and white lights are pleasant to look at and the RGB colors are very crisp! The three light bulbs together are very bright, however my only complaint is that these light bulbs don't dim as much as I'd like them too. I can tell Alexa to dim them to 1% and they still seem oddly bright. This is not too much of an issue though, as when I do want them extremely dim, I just tell Alexa to turn the lights blue or red, but if you're looking for extremely dim light bulbs, these may not be the bulbs for you Something fun I noticed is that both the blue and purple colors work as florescent black lights! I've been working on an art concentration consisting of neon colors, so having a light bulb I can adjust to become the perfect florescent black light is wonderful for me! :) Not necessarily a "feature" the average consumer would be looking for, but a very welcomed one!! I will definitely be re-purchasing these light bulbs once they kick the bucket (not really sure when that will be as I only use these at night!) Thank you for making a very cheap and affordable smart light, I have been very impressed so far and I will definitely be back to do business with this company again :)

Great choice for a low cost smart home!
First off for the price these bulbs are not that bad, they are a little dim even at full brightness but they do still light an entire room. I use all 3 that I bought for one ceiling fan and I love how they still light up the room well and the fact that I can change the color on these bulbs is what makes it even more awesome! As for the actual smart home function, the app is very simple to use and the bulbs are very easy to pair. Follow the instructions and I promise you’ll agree. The thing I really like about the app is that it is really well designed, usually low cost smart home products have poor apps that are buggy/glitchy but the app for this is perfect in my opinion. Alexa/Google Home/HomeKit functionality is really well done. I use GH and HomeKit and they have both been able to turn them on/off and change colors, I have even been able to dim the lights too! If you’re looking for a low cost 3 pack of bulbs that has a really well designed app I say buy these. You can’t go wrong.

Easy to install Candelabra bulbs, with a nice app to control them.
Took me about 10 minutes to get the bulbs working. Which is not bad, because I never did this before. Other bulbs I had came with a remote for each bulb, that responded in group only when all were in range.. Not these. They use an application (Android is what I have, and used) but is available in IOS as well, that lets you set them up, and control them individually or in custom groups (see photo) Initially when you turn on the bulbs in a multi light candelabra lamp, as I have, you trigger the pairing mode with turning on and off 3 times... Once you get them setup, you can just use the app and not switch. If you do not set them up within a few minutes, they leave pairing mode and stop blinking. But the blinking is what you want to go into the app, and find them. I found it did not work well at first to be like 10 feet away, so I went right to the lamp and set them up there. No problems once I did that. Now once they are setup I can be anywhere in my apartment and control them, so long as I have a wifi capability. I have them all setup as one group, for my own reasons; and like the ability to control all at once, but you can still manipulate each bulb individually (ie: shut some off) if you want. These bulbs are really cool, and I paid at the time of this review about $58 with tax for receiving them FBA Shipped. That is about 11.60 per bulb, which to me is reasonable, especially seeing all they can do. I am including a video of a simple light show, as well as the static photo of them in a pinkish hue. They are really cool.. :) I am very happy with them. One big thing too, is I Don't have to walk up to the lamp to power it anymore, power on/off individually or in group as well as lightshows, all that is in the app. Nice app and easy setup for that, just your email and a passcode. You will need your wifi passcode, and to setup you need to be using WPA2 in my bulbs case, and AES encryption, which it happened to be setup that way for my router anyway. Make sure you are on 2.4ghz band. These will not show up if you pick the 5ghz option. All in all I think they are awesome and the price fair. There are many premade lightshows in here, and this one was a preset called "Gorgeous" if you play the video.

had trouble connecting, but great once set up!
I got these to use in the fan and they fit perfectly. They came with instructions that were easy to follow, you have to download their app and connect the lights to your wifi, then you can connect to google home or Alexa. For some reason they did not want to connect to wifi, it took about 5 tries per bulb to connect and it kept saying "timed out", then finally for no reason, it would connect all of a sudden. That part was a little frustrating because there didn't seem to be a reason they had trouble connecting. Also, one of the lights has a lag, the other two lights will change color or dim, then one will lag for about a second before it follows. You don't notice it unless you are looking right at it, so it's not a problem, just wanted to mention it. 5 stars because over all it was easy to install, just took some time for them to connect, and they work great with my google home. Very easy to set up and great price.

A Hilarious Journey of Illumination
Once upon a time, in the land of home automation, I embarked on a quest to find the perfect LED candelabra bulbs. My mission was to light up my chandelier with smart bulbs that were not only dimmable but also had color-changing capabilities. After much research, I stumbled upon the Dogain LED Candelabra Bulbs, and little did I know the adventure that awaited me. With high hopes and a sprinkle of excitement, I eagerly ordered the 2-pack of Dogain LED Candelabra Bulbs. The bulbs arrived promptly, and I couldn't wait to transform my chandelier into a mesmerizing light show. However, as the saying goes, "Expect the unexpected." I unscrewed the old incandescent bulbs from my chandelier and carefully twisted in the Dogain LED bulbs. The first magical moment occurred as the bulbs turned on with a soft glow, like a warm smile spreading across the room. I connected them to my smart home assistant, Alexa, and Google Home, excited to explore their full potential. Initially, everything seemed flawless. I could effortlessly control the brightness and adjust the white light temperature to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion. The bulbs performed admirably, bringing elegance and charm to my chandelier. It was like having a tiny disco ball dangling above my dining table. However, one fateful evening, during a cozy dinner with friends, the bulbs decided to unleash their mischievous side. As we were discussing our day's adventures, the bulbs suddenly flickered and changed colors, casting an eerie glow upon us. Amidst laughter and confusion, we realized that the Dogain LED bulbs had a mind of their own. They were determined to turn our gathering into a psychedelic disco party! As I fumbled to regain control over the bulbs, we found ourselves immersed in a bizarre light symphony. Colors changed with each passing second, casting a rainbow of hues across the room. It was as if we had stumbled into a parallel universe where the laws of lighting were delightfully warped. While my friends found the unexpected light show amusing, I couldn't help but feel a hint of frustration. The bulbs' rebellious behavior, though comical, sometimes disrupted the desired mood. It seemed that they were more interested in entertaining us than providing consistent illumination. Nonetheless, the Dogain LED bulbs did have their redeeming qualities. When they decided to behave, the color-changing feature added a touch of whimsy to my living space. They transformed movie nights into cinematic experiences, turning my home into a mini theater. The dimming functionality also came in handy during late-night conversations, creating an intimate ambiance that encouraged heartfelt discussions. However, there were moments when the bulbs misunderstood my intentions entirely. I would ask them to dim to 50%, and they would respond with a burst of disco colors instead. It became a humorous game of trial and error, as I attempted to decode their ever-surprising responses. The bulbs seemed to possess a secret sense of humor, challenging me to master the art of smart lighting. With time, I learned to appreciate the Dogain LED Candelabra Bulbs for their unpredictability. They became an unexpected source of entertainment and a conversation starter when guests visited. We would all eagerly await the bulbs' next performance, wondering what light show they had in store for us. In conclusion, the Dogain LED Candelabra Bulbs provided a rollercoaster ride of illumination. Their color-changing and dimmable capabilities created a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, turning everyday moments into extraordinary experiences. While their mischievous nature occasionally disrupted the desired ambiance, the bulbs added an element of surprise and laughter to my life. If you're ready to embark on an illuminating adventure, embracing both the joy and occasional chaos that come with it, the Dogain LED Candelabra Bulbs are the perfect choice. Just be prepared for unexpected disco nights and let your imagination run wild. After all, life is brighter when it's filled with a touch of humor and colorful light displays.

Monumental pain to set up if you don't have 2.4 GHz wireless but quick once you get past that hurdle
In the product description, the only thing it said was the following: "WHAT YOU NEED is just 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi and a smart phone to install the suggested APP- Smart Life." What it DOESN'T say is that it will ONLY work on a 2.4 GHz frequency. My ISP's router offers dual band frequency - 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz. Because my cell phone, which is required for set up, connects to my WiFi at 5 GHz, it was physically impossible to set everything up. I couldn't even get the app to recognize the light bulbs. A device will only connect to my router at 2.4 GHz if it's a 2.4 GHz device. I couldn't get it to connect to the 2.4 GHz channel only. It kept bumping itself up to the 5 GHz channel for a better, faster connection. I was mere minutes away from leaving to return this item at the UPS store when I thought about trying to connect an old, 2.4 GHz (ONLY) router to my ISP's router as an AP and connect that way. While I am confident that would still work, while I was checking out the information in my router's firmware, I realized the Guest account that my router provides for guests to connect to without requiring me to give out my WiFi password broadcasts at ONLY 2.4 GHz. So, after 2 hrs fiddling with it last night and another hour this morning, I enabled the guest account, switched my cell phone over to that WiFi network, and then tried it again, bam! 30 seconds later I was up and running! I then had to switch my Echo over to the guest account as well so that they were both on the same network, but it was only connecting at 2.4 GHz anyway. No loss there. If I were this seller, I would put MUCH clearer, more concise information in the product description and say that these lights will ONLY work on a 2.4 GHz network, not something as ambiguous as all you need "is just 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi and a smart phone". To me, and I'm sure many others, that implies that a 2.4 GHz network (which is outdated and not really the standard anymore) is the minimum requirement and that the standard, more widely used 5 GHz network that pretty much everybody connects to would still work since almost all devices, except these bulbs, for example, are backwards compatible. You may also want to include something about some technical/networking expertise may be required. OOOORRRR you can nip it ALL in the bud and join the rest of us here in the year 2020 and upgrade these bad boys to work on either a 2.4 or 5 GHz network. Easy! If I were a buyer, and BEFORE purchasing these light bulbs, I would find out more information about your WiFi network FIRST. If I had known what a huge pain in the butt it would have been to set up, I may have gone a different route. If you aren't computer savvy, find a friend who is and they can easily figure it out. All that being said, now that I have the lights up and running and working with my Echo, I am definitely satisfied and happy. They work perfectly and as expected. They were super white colored light right out of the box, but once I tuned them to a softer, more yellow, less doctor's office feel, they work beautifully. I am hoping some of the other reviews people have left about them not lasting much longer than a few months is nothing more than a fluke and not the standard, but only time (and perhaps an updated review) will tell. Thanks for the same day delivery and the perfectly working (albeit nightmare of a setup) lights!

BEFORE YOU BUY!
BEFORE YOU START: As a installation tip, turn off power, install bulbs, turn on and off 3 times until they blink, and then connect them in the app via BLUETOOTH FIRST. After they are registered, THEN conenct them to your wi-fi. When we rewired and replaced our fan/lights, we needed new bulbs. I started with the Cync/GE Candelabra E12s because there were already part of our home eco system. But the only options available were WARM white with no RGB, and no COOL white setting. (We prefer it in our workspace to keep us productive! And pictures turn out nicer in our opinon) So those were returned and we went for something else. We got a different Amazon set that claimed they had programmable white, but alas, those were ALSO WARM white. Returned. I was starting to think that COOL white wasn't an option, until I stumbled on these lights. BOOM. Game changer. These came in a rather unassuming box and were, for the most part, cheap looking. The bulbs themselves are pretty hefty, and seem well-constructed. Using the instructions in the box, the installation seemed pretty straight-forward...exccept it wasn't. You see, I don't like giving phone access to EVERYTHING if I know the use shouldn't utilize them. So why was the app requiring permission for my exact location and camera/mic access? (Yes, I have been informed that geo-location is mostly for connected home "when I'm here" setups, but come ON) anyway, after trying to bypass the attempts, I finally gave in and allowed them the permissions they asked for. Then, the bulbs were FINALLY recognized. (go figure!) BUT they wouldn't connect to the internet right away. So here's where I'd normally go nuts, however, in the past, I had dealt with this SAME issue with bulbs from FEIT. So I did the thing I did before (as mentioned at the beginning of this review) bluetooth first, wifi second. and badabing bada-boom: connected. Went to the Alexa app, found the lights, (Dogain) paired, created a room and we were done! While the ordeal SEEMS like it took forever, the actual amount of time spent from unboxing to completion was like... 15 minutes (Time really slows down when you're upset!). As with literally ALL RGB lights, colored light will not create a bright source, and installing them in a place meant for big lighting doesn't mean they're going to create them. These bulbs are bright *enough* when they are on white-tones but they are NOT very bright when they are set to color. Overall, the light souce is exactly what we were looking for; Cool White light and the option for RGB for the kids and ambiance/background. I quite like them! As for the permissions, those were UN-granted immediately after the completed install, and if you're utilizing Alexa/Google Home, there's no reason to have them on.

Excelente producto
