Installed easy and worked as expected. Fixed my issue with front right dual burner staying on high on all knob settings. Installed on GE model JBP70B0K3BB. I’ll update with poor ratings if it stops working.

I made it work.
I ordered this because it looked like the part number interchanged with the old switch number I had, but found out the stem was too short to work in the stove. I also found out the actual correct part number is no longer available. I noticed the housing and wire connections were identical to my old switch so I took the old one apart to see how it was made. One of the electrical contacts was burned up, but since the switch was easy to disassemble, I took the new one apart and figured out how to transfer the old stem and cam bushing into the new switch. It worked perfectly.

The two large burners on our stove would only work at full blast. This fixed our issue and they work as normal now. Hopefully they last, they were a lot less than a factory unit.

So far so good.. perfect fit replacement after one trivial modification
This switch is the perfect replacement for the original failed one for my GE stove dual zone hotplate. The shaft length on the new switch was too short for my stove, but luckily it was trivial to exchange it with the one from the original switch. I simply removed the top plate of each switch by releasing the clips on either side with a small screwdriver, after which he shafts came right out and were easily exchanged. Note that the shafts could only be inserted with the correct orientation, making the exchange bomb proof. Wiring the new switch was a simple process of moving the wires one by one from the old switch to the new one. It is currently working as expected and I am delighted with the result. Hopefully it is going to last a long time..
