C4865 Night Vision Lighted Dial Wall Clock, 10", White

I bought 2 of them. The first one had a lovely night light but it only lasted for 4 days then it quit. There's a switch on the back so I could turn it off during the day. The second one never lit up. They are lovely clocks and I would keep them if I could get a partial refund but that's probably going to be too much "paperwork". UPDATE- A few days later I noticed the light was working! So happy. but what happened? I think because the light of the clock is so soft (perfect as a NIGHT light), it is not visible during the day, so I thought it wasn't working. So sorry I sent the second one back. Again, I received it during daylight hours, so when I put the batteries in and turned it on, I saw no illumination.

I bought this as a gift to someone who needed a clock in their bedroom. They are happy with it, and feel as if the moon is on the wall, as the light is soothing not irritating. When I received it I opened it to make sure it was ok, and placed the 4 batteries in the compartments. I looked at it every day for a week and it keeps perfect time! The illumination showed nicely but I did notice that the light seems to be brighter at the bottom of the clock between 5 and 6. Not sure if that is a defect, or all the clocks are made like that? The face of clock is properly illuminated, but not sure if this was meant to be or not? Otherwise, everything is good, and it's kind of like having a night light that faces you, but doesn't interrupt your sleep. The price was ok, and the clock has easy to read numbers with nice size hands.

LOVE this clock. Could be a little larger, but perfect other than that. Light turns on and off automatically at night and morning. Light is not too bright nor too dim. Easy to read. Perfection. EDIT. Have had a while now. Light does die pretty quickly.

This clock was mounted inside it's box with two tiny screw to stabilize during shipping. Bulova obviously takes pride in their clocks, they don't use thin slip dust cover cardboard. They must never have any complaints on their end for cutting corners in the shipping dept. Bulova C4865 Night Vision Lighted Dial Wall Clock, 10", White is just the right size for a smaller space, but large enough 10'' outside edge around 7'' clock face that I can easily read time across the room with it's 20mm (13/16) x 14mm (9/16) Arabic numerals. Easy to set time and load/remove AA batteries. This is a SILENT SWEEP clock and should be exciting to see illumination at night. Arrived today so accuracy or durabilty are unknown but looks to be very well made and would not expect any dissapointments from Bulova timepieces. Already highly satisfied with the appearance, size and features!

We purchased this wall clock for our bedroom. We needed a clock that can be visible at night (in total darkness) but will not be dependent on available light in the daytime for luminescence to be charged. Also, we needed a quiet unit as this is our bedroom and we dont want to be disturb with ticking sound. Pros: + Its accurate + it has a simple clock face that match our bedroom decor + it is quiet (until the battery drains) Cons: + ~2-3 months after using the clock, the backlit stopped. Initially I was sure the 3 AA batteries were drained so I replaced them with a freshly charged amazon batteries. And to my surprise it still didn't work. I flicked the on/off switched, I entered into a windowless room - nothing helped, it didnt backlit the clock face. I then took the 3 AA batteries and checked them with a hand held flashlight - all were in good condition and lit the flashlight. so I assume there is a defect with the light sensor or the led itself. Too bad, because this was our main reason to buy this wall clock. + One the single AA battery of the clock movement start to die, the clock movement start to make audible continuous swoosh sound that fails on the second requirement for quite clock mechanism. Even so, I wondered if it was related to the battery strength and indeed, once I placed a fresh battery, the noise subsided. Bottom line - dont buy if you need led-illuminated wall clock (and if you dont need illumination there are enough cheaper alternatives in Amazon.

Its backlit but... not centered light a bit to the right at the bottom of the 6. Should have been in the middle or at least centered. Clock itself OK still trying to decide if I'll keep. If I do it's because of lack of options on backlighting. Great Idea not great execution. Also its' plastic rim could havre been a nice metal. It's all plastic, but looks good enough.

Yes good glow in the dark and readable clock

This clock is absolutely fantastic !!! Super easy to set up and read . Yes it’s a tad on the expensive side , but you get what you pay for : an accurate clock that looks great wherever you decide to place it in your house . The function of the clock face lighting up at night is an added nightlite feature that is so cool . Overall , a great clock .
