Cool
Lovely, but a bitch to install and get use to the remote. It was really difficult since we have switches at the door for the fan and very confusing for the remote.

Great fan, Great Look
We needed a fan in our bedroom and my wife was very concerned about the look of the fan. I needed good airflow at a good price. This fan provided great airflow with a DC motor that provides very efficient energy usage AND made my wife happy with the Look of the fan.

Beautiful - but not reliable.
I bought 3 of these in the fall of 2021. It's now Dec, 2025 - and 2 of my fans stopped working. The first one died 6 months ago, when the motor capacitor failed. The second one just died this week. I am disappointed that a $600 fan only lasted four years. The 60 year old Hunter Douglas fan in my bedroom still runs just fine....

Great fan, just ticks a lot
We have bought several Minka-Aire fans in the past, including 8 of these units. Of the eight, 3 have a noticeable "tick" when the fan is operating. We can't figure out why, as the others don't. All were installed at the same time in the same manner. A call to Minka-Aire helped as they offered to send us new units, which they did. 2 of them worked well with the "tick." The third one still "ticks" on occasion. This is an excellent looking fan, but you have to know you may get one that, while I can't say it is defective, may have a noise problem.
