can i use these to bake poly clay in?

I believe you could shape the clay with these molds but then remove them for the actual baking part of your creation. Good luck.

how do you get the candy out of the mold?

The mold is made of food-grade silicone and is very soft. You can gently push the candy out from below. Compared with other molds, he just has a deep cavity and does not affect the removal. Will these fit in a standard egg carton?

These are for making egg bites. I use an instant pot. Not sure I understand why you'd want to put them in an egg carton.
