Nice sugar substitute

I hoped I had discovered a new product for my daughter to use instead of her Monk Fruit sugars. I was wrong. The texture in the bag resembles a brownish powder, and it has absolutely zero flavor. I decided to proceed with this sweetener to make a blueberry compote. I mixed half of this product with a half of sugar for the 1/3 sugar the blueberry compote recipe called for. It didn't turn out as the recipe should have because this doesn't give the light syrup that eventually cooks off, leaving a lightly sweetened fruit. This bag will go in the trash, and I suggest that others avoid this new sweetener.

I saw this mentioned good for coffee, but I haven't been able to get it to fully dissolve. Tastes good and is good in smoothies or more solid things though.

I've tried many alternatives to sugar, they all have a bad after-taste. I had high hopes for this one. Although the taste is not bad, it seemed like it was taking many spoonfulls added to my coffee just to get a hint of flavor, (and it's like flour so it did not mix nicely), then I found out it just turned to sludge at the bottom of my coffee cup, no matter how much I stirred it up.

The taste is fine but when I try to dissolve it in my coffee, it clumps up. No matter how long I stir, it never fully dissolves.

This ingredient pops up in some of my superfood smoothie recipes. This product was a great add for taste and nutrition.
