This was such a fun and unique gift. I purchased it for a 9-year-old's birthday and she absolutely loved it. Shipment arrived on time. Everything was in perfect condition. It came with a lot of different color letters, emojis, a cord to charge. Size was perfect for the occasion. You will need to purchase AA batteries. The light is bright and vibrant and battery life is excellent. This cinema light definitely added to the aesthetics of my daughter’s party!

I really liked this item for my 6 year old daughter. Such a wonderful way for a child to express themselves. The quality is very and includes a great selection of colorful letters and emojis. Only one caution, the item comes with two dry erase markers and the first thing my daughter did with these is write on the Light Box. When she tried erasing what she had written, she had a hard time. I then read the manual and cleaning instructions. I was able to get the bottom section clean but not the rest. Not sure if the screen was defective. While the manual does not state it, I would suggest not using the dry erase markers to write on the light box. Not a guarantee that it will come off clean.

I bought this for my pre-teen granddaughter. She loves displaying it in her room and really enjoys all the letter, number, and emoji options to choose from. So many of them! I don't think she's used the markers with it yet but they're a nice way to add a personal touch to it, too. It props up on its bottom edge on her dresser but she's also moved it to the kitchen for certain holidays and added sayings specific for those days (i.e. Happy New Year, Happy Easter). The letters or emojis are easily slid into the first, second, or third row and are removed just as easily. If on at night, it's probably brighter than a traditional night light but can be used as one if needed. It comes with a USB cord for charging but it also has a place to put batteries if you prefer that mode of energy. Recommend.
