Lemonade is finally back on the โcool downโ summer drinks list and this granny is thrilled!!
Some years back, a type 2 diabetes diagnosis not only impacted my eating habits but significantly impacted my choice of cooling drinks to beat the summer heat. Fresh lemon squeezed juice with sugar was one of the first favorite drinks to be cut. Since then, I have tried with no success to find a store-bought product or a recipe for lemonade that was flavorful, close to authentic and that would not cause me to shake from the sugar and carbohydrate highs. I was just about to totally give up on lemonade until a random search on Amazon brought up the ad for True Lemon Original Lemonade Drink Mix. Encouraged by the healthier ingredients list: sweetened with Stevia (and a pinch of sugar) No artificial sweeteners, flavors, or colors and reading that each packet was only 10 calories per stick packet and a low sugar amount at just 1g per packet was the decisive turning point for me! Determined to try again, I took a chance on True Lemon Original Lemonade Drink Mix and after the first gulps I was hooked. The natural stevia leaf extract sweetener combined with the real lemon juice oils combined to create a tasty, delightful, refreshing lemonade. The low sugar and carbohydrates content did not cause the sharp spike in my blood sugar or the โshakesโ that I always got with other lemonade alternatives. I also pour the lemonade into my tiny ice cube trays and after freezing, I add the flavorful lemonade cubes to my drinking water! True Lemon Original Lemonade Drink Mix is now at the top of the list of summer โbeat the heatโ drinks and this search find discovery on Amazon is one of the best Iโve made this year!

Lemonade
I really enjoy the True Lemon powdered lemonade. It has a refreshing lemon flavor without tasting overly sweet, and itโs really convenient to have on hand whenever I want a quick lemonade. The powder dissolves easily in water, making it simple to prepare at home, at work, or while traveling.I also like that I can adjust the strength and sweetness to my personal preference by changing how much water I use. The individual packets are convenient and easy to take with you.Overall, itโs a great option when you want a refreshing lemon drink without having to keep a pitcher of premade lemonade in the refrigerator. Iโll definitely keep these on hand.

Very good!
I've been looking for something to put in my water so I drink the suggested amount daily. This is a great thing to add. It's very tasty, low sugar, and I add tart cherry juice with it so I end up with cherry lemonade. Very good and refreshing.

Great lemon flavor
Great lemon flavor. Artificial sweetener taste is more prominant than I expected, but lemon is strong.

Best stevia product
I'm not much for stevia products because it leaves an after taste with many products but I try them to find better alternatives to sugar products and so far this is my favorite and I reorder it when I'm out. Great flavor very satisfying. I definitely recommend.

Not like any lemonade Iโve ever had
I love the ingredients on paper, but how does natural lemonade taste so bad? It tastes acidic but not much like lemonade. Makes my tooth enamel feel soft. Iโve tasted multiple flavors, and the only one I like somewhat is the wildberry. But even it is just tolerable. Not particularly yummy. But Iโll keep using the wildberry for now because Iโm having trouble drinking plain water, and I canโt have sugary drinks or artificial sweeteners. Until a better option becomes available, the wildberry will do.

Stevia can have diuretic effect
My elderly father is a diabetic with congestive heart failure and stage 3 kidney disease. He recently came to live with me and, when one of his drink flavoring packets with artificial sweeteners and unnatural dyes permanently stained my countertop, we decided to find a natural alternative. (If am artificially dyed food stains surfaces, what might it be doing to your guts and kidneys?).He loves these lemonades (regular, raspberry and the True Lime Black Cherry Limeade). The stevia is not mixed with erythritol or maltodextrin, just a small amount of cane sugar which does not affect his blood sugar levels. He was drinking two packets per day along with other sufficient fluids to stay well-hydrated.However, after 3 weeks, he fell due to dizziness, and then we discovered that he was dehydrated. We finally figured out that he's one of the rare people for whom stevia acts as a strong diuretic. He was already taking a large dose of a very strong pharmaceutical diuretic, and the stevia compounded the diuresis. My dad wants to continue drinking his lemon- and lime-ades, so we've cut back his pharmaceutical diuretic by 2/3 which allows him to drink one packet of this per day. Yes, it has that strong of an effect for him.Just wanted to post this in the event there are other customers who may be sensitive to stevia and not know it. My dad has never consumed stevia products in the past, so this was completely unexpected for us and earned him 3 days in the hospital. And as a bonus, after this incident, he was advised to take l-glutamine to calm gut inflammation (has small bowel Crohn's, colon was removed 30 years ago) to ensure his small bowel can absorb fluids to alleviate dehydration risk (small bowel has compensated since the lost of his colon). It's been 3 days since he has injected any insulin because l-glutamine triggers your body to release GLP-1. We didn't know that either, and he is tickled pink. This has truly been a rough week with a lot of interesting discoveries because of True Lemon and True Lime.

Old stock. No expiry date.
The content is not in powder anymore. Becoming like a paste. Might be an old stock. I can't see any expiry date.
