This is bigger and more sturdy than I thought it was going to be. It measures inches on one side and cm on the other. I am attempting to make a small wedding cake for a friend and wanted a smooth icing so I hope I get the hang it this tool quickly. Edit: After trying the product, I noticed that the vertical blade wasn't straight. It had a warp or bend in it that could not be fixed so there's no way it could possibly make the side of a cake smooth. It was difficult to hold it vertically and keep the top level AND spin the turn table at the same time. I resorted to using my bench scraper instead and it worked perfectly.

Using this allows even beginners to create pretty icing decorations. The problem is that it can't be fixed in place, so you need someone's help. Of course, it might be because I'm not used to it and I'm a beginner. When someone else holds it steady from the side, it works wonderfully.

Would give zero stars if possible. The 1st one I ordered came with the packaging opened and the scraper bent. Ordered a replacement and the 2nd one came the same way. Can't use a bent scraper. Don't waste your time ordering one of these

Works as expected!. Horizontal scraper stays in place so well it was a little hard to remove after.

Doesn't give the smooth, sharp cornet as pictured in the ad, but does a decent enough job that is east to fix! Plus, the siding arm for adjustable heights us great!!

J’avais acheté cet outil en me disant qu’il me ferait sauver beaucoup de temps avec mes gâteaux, mais l’équerre ne glisse pas sur l’autre partie ce qui rend l’ajustement très difficile. Une fois ajouter à la bonne hauteur, le fini est bien, mais si vous avez plusieurs hauteurs différentes, ça n’est pas très pratique 😅
