Wicks work great but definitely DO NOT last very long. I go through 1 wick per week, yes you read that correctly, 1 per week. I have very soft water and according to the manual as well as everything I found online, they say that soft water severely diminishes the life of the filter. Boy, that's an understatement. I'm 6 days in since my last replacement and the filter is already yellow and brown on the inside portion of the wick. Humidifier was running constantly but the RH in the house was actually dropping slowly so that was my cue to replace. The first picture is the side that points to the inside of the tank and naturally, the second picture is the side that points to the back side. I keep my house at 55% RH at 75 degrees F. I go through 2 full tank refills daily, once in the morning and then again mid evening so the wick is getting I would say much more going through it than a usual use scenario. I just didn't realize when I bought the humidifier that I would be spending so much on wicks simply for the sake of all my houseplants, but if they're happy, I'm happy. Lots of money tied up in those plants. I figure it's only for 3 or 4 months and honestly, I spent money in a lot worse ways so I will suck it up.

We run a humidifier every winter so we are not constantly shocking things, and running around with bloody noses do to the dry air. We have well water and even with the chemicals and the water going through a softener, a neutralizer and several filters, the wicks don't seem to last long. We go through 3-5 gallons of water in 24 hours, and when the wicks start to go bad the humidifier runs longer and the tank lasts longer and I know it's time to replace it. These are the same and they work well. I think the 3 pk will get us through the winter and maybe have an extra to start next winter. Can't beat the price.

Ce qui semblait être un bon achat est finalement un achat onéreux. Faites attention pour les détails de la livraison, ça porte à confusion. Après avoir contacter le vendeur, ce dernier s'est excusé des inconvénients et m'a proposé de payer cette facture. Je change donc l'évaluation du vendeur, car son service après-vente est impeccable.

Ce sont des filtres convenables pour être utilisés avec un humidificateur de maison.

Usually I have use one wick for the whole winter season and it worked well. This year the wick I installed beginning of November was completely dry above the water line by mid January - the water level is controlled by a float valve. The new replacement is sill OK.
