Wear rubber gloves or they may not work.
I have cats. I was overrun this year by field mice. They are very cunning at what they do and they are also viscous in nature. Different traps would work for maybe one rounds. I think I figured out one major reason. They have an unbelievable sense of smell. If they smell a mouse cadaver or a human they will avoid the traps. They seem to really like this bait and for a while stopped working. In my research I realized the importance of wearing rubber gloves when you handle the packs - presumably to avoid getting human scent on them. They are non-toxic so I cannot see any other reason. Anyway since I started wearing rubber gloves they are working well for what mice I have left.

Doesn't work- mice didn't eat this at all
I purchased these and put several down, the mice have not touched it so it's useless. I used steel wool to plug the areas they come in but injured my back and will eventually cover the holes with metal and molding to see if that helps... we did have the outside areas covered by someone but I have to check that again and have someone else come back. Ever since we had the siding redone the situation got worse. So my advice is if you have asbestos tile leave it alone, siding just creates holes all over your house. I was also stung by a wasp while sleeping, and had them twice in my bedroom due to holes left by the people who did the siding. This product is a waste of time and money. I won't use the wafarin ones as cats can die from that and I can't use traps. What a mess. I still have clean up to do but can't due to my back. I don't want my cats getting them and eating them because they can get re-exposed to different strains of t gondii and one tragically passed away from toxoplasmosis. I would like a refund but I think it is too late. I will try calling. I have to wonder how there are so many good reviews here. I know there are still mice in the garage and studio because I found one that had drowned in a basin of water I had forgotten to put away which was horrific and that was several weeks after I put these down. In addition none of them have been eaten and when my cats escape to the garage one goes immediately to one area where they would wait for the mice- once when he was out there I heard him knock over something so he was chasing one but didn't catch it. I'm going to set up some cameras to see if I can see them at all. Hopefully covering the holes with metal panels and molding and sealing up the outside will eventually work.

ONLY thing that worked! Non toxic.Won’t harm kids/animals.No smell or mess.Mice DEHYDRATE!
These DEHYDRATE mice once dead! No smell. These are nontoxic for humans and animals ! No mess. The ONLY product ( or natural) that Killed them all! I had a real problem and everything I tried didn’t work. And I tried everything. When I found these, I couldn’t believe it. Yes So easy to just throw these under the a cupboard under the sink under the bed behind cabinets or the sofa. The mouse x and the rat x have the same ingredients.

Not impressed
I really wanted this to work as stated. Placed packets in strategic places where there was rodent traffic. When I checked back several days later not one was touched. Then I tried a second approach. I cut rodent sized holes in plastic containers, opened the bait, added chicken feed and seeds. It worked as something ate it. This worked a few times placing container in various places. I’m still seeing evidence of rodents after three weeks.

This killed the last mouse in my house.
Mouse traps killed the other two. The last one was very clever, surviving a glue trap and setting a trap. I finally had it cornered behind my washer and blocked it in with glue traps. I then dropped three bags around the washer. It took four days for it to take the bait but finally the mouse is no more. I suggest opening one pack to make it more inviting. The open pack is the one the mouse took and I noticed other comments saying that worked for them.

Effective
I was having some trouble with mice in my attic space. I bought these and was able to throw them up there with no issues. There was no smell because you don't need to open the bag. I have not heard any more mice, so I believe they are working well.
