Very nice piece of equipment
CW-303D: Very nice piece of equipment. Haven't had a chance to take it out on the water as of yet, but preliminary test's show accurate counting with the counter and the drag seems to be good with no issues during testing. I have this spooled with 60 yards of 40# mono backing and 150 yards of 65# braid. This reel is nearly identical in size to the Okuma Cortez CZ12-CS which we also use (and have spooled the same way), this makes it easy for us to interchange reels on our PENN Power Stick Plus rods and maintain a consistent feel between trolling, jigging, and live baiting (reel swapping depending on presentation). *** Will update review later after landing some 50# Stripers and bigger Blue Cats ***

This is a great reel for the money. I use it rock fishing . After. 2 sessions of use the counter doesn’t work very good. The drag is now locking up so you can’t close the drag . Especially when you have a fish on. Hard to find someone to work on them. But for the money and a few seasons of use there great

Best reel hands down
These are absolutely my favorite reels. I use them for salt water fishing in washington state and 100% love them if your on the fence just get them. I use the 203 for salmon

Great for dipsey divers or anything trolling where line out numbers are crucial.
Good performance, good price. No problem with 20+lb salmon that like screaming drag. Holding up great so far, using them with mono backing and 50lb braid for dipsey divers.

Excellent quality for the price you pay
I have 7 of these reels and they have been great! I use mine mostly for catfishing, but have also used them in saltwater for trolling. Very durable, the gears appear well made and the linecounter is a must have if you do a lot of trolling! I'd buy another 7 of these before I paid $200 for one reel.

Excellent quality for the price. Cannot wait to try it at sea. Feels very solid, well made, looks good and with a lot of thought in the design. Matched the reviews on YouTube. My only regret is the depth counter is in Feet and not Meters. Fast delivery.

Great reel
Great 303d for Great Lakes salmon on downrigger rods. They hold 200 feet of 50lb braid and 800 ft of 30lb mono (1000feet). I’ve caught hundreds of salmon 1-30lbs and the drag is great. Line counters amazing. Price can’t be beat. Love the oversized handles and wide reeling motion/action of the handle. Saves my tennis elbow from getting worse

The reel holds a lot of 12lb test line and the drag system works perfectly.
