City Fire Station 60110

This set has tons of playability. My 3 boys can play on it together with the addition of their own creations. The double garages are super fabulous and come with the glass(tile) garage pieces that make up the doors. The large garage can accommodate vehicles without issue. The fire pole is a fun addition and the mini figures slide down it well. The hot dog stand with lime green umbrella is a nice touch. This set comes with 6 mini figures (4 fire fighters plus 1 fire chief (not new) and a hot dog vender) and 1 dog. It also comes with the Fire Chief's car, Fire Ladder Truck and mini Fire Helicopter. The Ladder Truck and mini helicopter both have water hoses that shoot water (12 blue disks). The building itself is comprised of three sections: 1 small garage, 1 large garage (helipad on top) and the center building with offices (map, controls), sleeping quarters (3rd floor bunk beds) and dispatch room(1st floor) complete with really rad revolving door (mini figs are a little tricky to ride/fit but they do fit). Set is 10 bags and 6 books Overall a nice addition to the fire collection with ample vehicles and mini figures.

This set is simply amazing. The different building and the level of detail in all the vehicles is great. My son plays with it almost on a daily basis and loves to open the doors and move his mini-figures throughout the main building (especially the revolving door). My only criticism is that there were major components that were not included in the numbered bags and were instead bundled together in an unlabeled bag. This caught us off guard because the first bag was for the police car and it seemed to be missing the core component (the axle). The piece would have easily fit in the bag. With 14 bags, it took us a while to find the mystery bag.

This is a great LEGO set... HOWEVER, I would recommend waiting until you can catch this set on sale. The retail price is $99.99, which is a decent price when thinking about the piece count, but if you wait, I'll think you'll be rewarded with a better price. If the past is any indication of what will happen with this LEGO set prior to retirement (when the set is no longer sold), you'll have the opportunity to pick this set up at 30-40% off. Be patient... add this LEGO set to your Amazon list... be ready to pounce when the set goes on sale. Happy bricking!

I got this set so I could play with my younger siblings ages 5-11. (Great way to build relationships and lots of fun!) Issue: Assembly was fairly easy except I struggled to get the garages to connect. I don't know if my black connectors were faulty or what, but the station side would cave in before I could get them to hook. 5th Configuration: The box boasts of 4 different station configurations but I made up a 5th. On the front of the box they show a garage on either side emptying into the front of the building. (This looked like a good way for them to have an accident!) So I shifted the engine garage so that it pointed out from the building. (much safer for the vehicles) But then the garage blocked the use of the lower level in the back of the station. Then I noticed that the pole was on the left coming down so that they could conveniently enter the 1st garage. But to get to the fire engine they had to run around the building. I thought, why not put the garages next to each other? All the fire stations I've ever seen had all the garages in a row emptying in the same direction. I connected to the two garages with the "tool rack" and a couple flat red bricks I had left over from the redesign. So despite my connector trouble I still give the station 5 stars! "Our" Lego City has a lot of fires, injuries, and people getting trapped so this station was just what we needed!

Was sold out every where. Found on Amazon and was delivered promptly. Was a bit more than at the local target but was in-stock so was perfect to get via Amazon. There are about 10 bags of Legos in the box. Instructions are perfect. If for a 7 year old then will need adult help to manage and navigate. Recommend only opening the bags when doing the steps in the book. Unlike my kid who wanted to open all the bags at once....

My nephew slapped his hands over his mouth and practically screamed when he opened the box. The cute little guy loves it! At his age, he just mixes the pieces in with the sets he already has, but it was still worth it for that reaction. It's a nice kit, comes with a lot of little tableaus to create, like a hot dog cart on fire. The pole is pretty cool as well, the little Lego guys actually spin right down it. Which could get racy...but, come on, you heathens. This is a children's toy.

Great value! Got it for a mature 3yr old in the firetruck love stage. We assembled it together over course of a week and he plays with it daily. Only frustration is the helicopter is Legos (duh!) so it does come apart more easily than 3 yr old emotions can handle sometimes (purchasing an additional set with bigger helicopter with bigger more sturdy propellers solved this). This is a big set so We removed his train from the train table to set up this set and he creates imaginary hour-long emergency scenes with his toy cars daily. It's been months now and though we offered to switch out Legos for the train... He chooses these Legos. Wish there was a hospital/ambulance set in this Lego city series too.

My grandson, who has just turned 5, asked for a Lego Fire Station for his birthday. He is very adept at putting together the smaller kits in this age bracket. He was thrilled to receive this and would not stop building until all "10" bags were completed.The finished product was very well made and he has been playing firemen games with the little Lego people, putting out fires, rescuing people in a town he built with other Lego kits and pieces. My husband built a 4 x 8' Lego table with a rim around it for active Lego play. He plays with them every day and with a very active imagination, this kit is being well used and a lot of fun. Is that not a perfect toy? As an aside, but very important to me, the directions are AMAZING!

Como de costumbre muy divertido de armar. Sólo en la caja me parece una exageración el que pongan como un sale point el que tenga "3 modos diferentes", la verdad es que entre las 3 estructuras hay bisagras que permiten pivotear los dos externos y los tres modos simplemente son posiciones en las que los puedes alinear.

Good quality product , great price - grandson loved it

My son loved it. We thought of trying out buying an open box item and it was actually in perfect condition. The box was just slightly banged up but not an issue for us. All bags unopened and obviously all pieces there. We had lots of fun building this set. Love the firetruck and garage doors for special pieces the best.
