Quality and Elegance on Display
This is a great lighter. I have a Dunhill lighter and it leaks . This lighter is beautiful and it works every time . Has a perfect flame . Comes with a tamper that is at the bottom of the lighter. Quality lighter. Top of the line . I have been a pipe smoker for over 30 yrs and The Ole boy IM Corona is my go to lighter. Worth every dime to own this beautiful lighter. They have a two year warranty also . Don't miss your chance to have a beautiful elegant durable high quality lighter.

High quality but small pipe lighter.
Its very small, but so far a very good quality lighter. If you have big sausage fingers, it's a bit difficult to grip it, but you get used to it. So far I'm satisfied. Probably the best lighter I've ever owned. It's easy to fill, adjust, lights very easily, and classy looking. If you have issues with sporadic flame, purge the tank before you refill it by pressing the fill valve in. Bleed it empty of the air, then fill. Don't shake the butane can- it adds air to the fill.

I was reluctant to spend so much on a lighter....
I got to say when I ordered this, I had wondered if I had just blown a bunch of money for no good reason...that thought ended the moment I used it for the first time. Though I will say I still think it is a bit pricey...I do not regret buying it. The craftsmanship is fantastic, with high attention to detail. Everything works as intended and does so very well. Loading the flint is a breeze, filling it up is easy, it lights the first strike every time indoors, and adjusting the flame can be done with a short thumbnail. All of this is extremely important in the use of the lighter, but I am also big on the feel of an item. I want it to feel good in the hand, I want it to feel solid, substantial, like it's going to last for a long time, and I am happy to say this lighter checks all the boxes. Plus the crank back arm style is definitely unique in a world full of Bics and Zippos.

Performs pooly in wind
This is a nice lighter. It heavy, shiny and generally feels like a nice bit of bling. The action is fun (vaguely steampunk). I only smoke outdoors and therefore have to contend with wind on occasion. Sadly, there is utterly no wind shielding around the gas nipple and it blows out quite easily even when you crank the flame up. A Bic disposable was my fallback (much better in the wind). It also quit working after a few weeks. It behaved as tho the valve were sticking (flipping open and closed several times sometimes got it working again) until it eventually would produce no flame at all. The seller sent me a form letter suggesting that I was not using gas of sufficient purity; but I had been using the recommended Colibri Premium Butane all along. $130 for a lighter ought to produce something pretty flawless. There's a $18 copy of the thing here on Amazon.

An intelligently priced lighter
Why spend $675.00 for the Dunhill equivalent when you have this?

Classic heirloom quality.
The best lighter there is. Classic and will continue to work for years and years. I used mine for pipe smoking which means 20-50 lights per day for 5 years before I lost it. I promptly purchased another. Spend extra to get the cleanest fuel you can (not Ronson or zippo brand). And ONLY use Coronaโs flints. Zippo flints will fit, but they are too hard and will eventually smoothen the cuts in the flint strike wheel. There are companies that will actually service these so you could conceivably pass this down to your kids/grandkids in perfectly usable condition.

There's A Catch To This Lighter ...
Tried to buy replacement flints yet? Standard flint sizes (.63mm) that work with Zippo and other brands are too big for this lighter. The IM Corona uses a very narrow (.27mm) diameter flint they sell on Amazon for $5.95 plus another $4.95 shipping. In exchange for your $10.90 plus tax you get ... five flints. Compare with other Amazon vendors offerieng 100 packs of standard sise flints for as low as $3.99 and you'll understand why I somehow feel someone managed to get one over on me.
