Yo, so this QuakeHOLD! bag? It's basically a grab-and-go thing for when stuff hits the fan – earthquakes, floods, whatever. Got your basic supplies: light stick, whistle, mask, gloves, the works. Plus, some food and water that'll last a bit. Five-year shelf life, which is kinda cool. It's not gonna save your life in a full-on apocalypse, but it's a decent little add-on to your main emergency stash. Like, a nice 'just in case' kinda deal. Won't hurt to have one in the car or under your desk, ya know? This review represents my personal opinion and experience with this product. I appreciated the items in the emergency kit. It was just enough, for the money, for my kid's after school program. Light and compact. Recommend if you are going on a hike and it's just nice to have emergency items. Definitely recommend to pair it with a water filter straw to be more prepared in the wild.

I wanted to add this package to my emergency backpack and to show others the items needed in cases of emergencies. This is a great item to have. I plan to order more for the family.

So my prepping for the apocalypse occasionally brings a head tilt to my wife when I am running around like a child storing my loot. My idea was to get a bug out bag of her very own. I bought this simple kit to start out a bag for her. She didn't seem as into it as I was and told me "you know you still have to carry all of this for me you know that right?" Maybe I am starting to wear her down on the idea. :)

well there was no velcro fastener but other than that product is as described. the lil food bar and water bag manufactured in june 2015 and good until 2020. yes the whistle, gloves, goggles and dust mask looks cheap but i tried them and they were doin what they suppose to do.i didnt open the blanket thou it is most likely a basic product as well. nevertheless i think these all would become handy in an emergency situation and will sure help you get through for a couple of hours in an emergency situation. at 10 bucks, i think thats a good small kit to have in your office or your trunk. also may be an excellent add-on item for your bug out bag as well. overall great value and no complaints really.

I ordered 4 of these to give as gifts to my daughter and her boyfriend who moved to CA. I was hoping they could keep one in their cars and one at work or home. They are not as described. First of all, there is no velcro on the bag to attach these, as described on both the site and the instructions inside the bag. The date on all 4 of the packs I received has only 4 years left, not 5 as described. The meal bar is not the Millenium brand raspberry as pictured, but a different, generic brand and apple cinnamon flavored. I detest anything apple flavored so I'm glad I'm giving these away and hope my daughter and her boyfriend will like them if they ever need to use them. I looked up the different bars and the brand I received is a much cheaper alternative to the Millenium brand. I hope the taste is OK though. I suppose in an emergency, it'll be fine. The goggles look like they'll be fine. The mask is a very cheap dust mask, not something I'd trust to protect from viruses, but in an earthquake, dust would be more of a problem. They're cheap though so some dust will get in on the sides, they're not completely protective from that. One of the packages I received had an open water pouch which leaked all over all the other items in the pouch, which very likely ruined some of them as well. I put in a call to the company and left a message. They are not quick to respond and I have not heard back. I am hoping they will return my call so that this can be remedied because I don't want the hassle of having to make a return since Amazon has made returns so much more difficult now. I later put in a call to the number listed on the package itself and initially was told that I'd have to go through Amazon to get a refund, but when I asked if I could just get a replacement packet of water they agreed to do that. The two women that I talked to were very friendly. I forgot to mention that the expiration date is not the 5 years as described, but 4 years.

This is a compact essentials kit that I hope I never have to use, but have peace of mind that I have it in my desk drawer at the office in case I need it. I like that it has a light stick and food bar and emergency water in the kit.
