I finally found my perfect blender…
TLDR: this blender is comparable to a Vitamix E310 in terms of blend quality, and is in some ways easier to use. Read below for my smoothie journey and how I settled on this being my preferred blender. I’ve used a couple of different blenders over the last couple years, including a Vitamix E310, a magic bullet and a nutribullet. The Vitamix was great, but just too big for my needs. I normally make single serve smoothies/bowls for just myself, and don’t require a super large container to make multiple smoothies. The magic bullet was undoubtedly the worst blender, with only a 250 watt motor It really struggles to make anything using frozen fruit or ice. The nutribullet was better, but it required some babysitting as you had to shake the container to distribute the fruit when it gets stuck at the top. So now I’m here, I haven’t tried ninja blenders before and I did quite a bit of research before settling on this one specifically. Ninja does have more expensive blenders that come with a larger container as an added bonus, however during my research I have found that the larger containers for this brand seem to perform worse than the smaller single use containers. The reason comes down to the blades, the larger one uses 3 separate blades that “chop” everything up, where as the smaller containers use a more traditional blender blade system that blends things nicely. I was also intrigued by the bowl attachment, as it is similar to how Vitamix uses the tamp to distribute items more evenly. So I bought it, and it works fantastic. I’ve attached a short video where you can see a bowl I created with the bowl attachment, and 2 smoothies blending. The video really shows how well the blender is able to mix frozen items without supervision. It just does it, no babysitting required. The smoothie bowl attachment does require you to twist it, but only for 30 seconds (which I think is doable considering how great the consistency is) Also somewhat surprisingly, it blends leafy greens like kale or spinach perfectly without leaving clumps. Only the Vitamix was ever able to do this for me, so I’m happy to have found a blender that is able to do this in single serve fashion. For this to work well you need to use the extract button. At the time of writing this review it’s $69, and I’m pretty sure this is the best blender you can get for that price. Even at its normal selling price I’d still buy it considering how well it works. The only potential downsides to this blender include: 1) it’s pretty light, and it can just hop around the counter if the suction feet aren’t attached properly. Try to get the feet a little wet and clean the counter before setting it down to avoid this. 2) it’s a ninja, I don’t think this brand is exactly known for product longevity but I guess I’ll have to see how it holds up. Build quality is overall good but not up to Vitamix standards of course. 3) It’s loud, like I’m pretty sure you will wake up everyone within a 500 ft radius if you are blending at 6 am. Don’t be that person. That’s about it for this long review, I’m not sure why I spent the time writing this out but I think it’s good for a product like this to get the recognition It deserves. 5 stars, just buy it.

Amazing Blender!
I bought this blender because I wanted to make meal replacement shakes/smoothies as a quick lunch, since I work from home. I searched and searched for something affordable, but also powerful. I could not afford those $300+ blenders, so I went to Ninja. I have heard great things about their products, and the majority of the reviews are positive. So I buy the blender, it arrives, I can't wait to use it. I read about the reviews that said it is "SO LOUD" and like yeah, it is loud, but it honestly wasn't that bad. My husband slept through it, and I used it in the kitchen, 25 feet from our closed bedroom door. I wouldn't use it around a newborn baby, but my cats were okay with it. I just threw a couple dish towels over it to dampen the noise. But listen, for power of this kind, it's a worthy trade off. When I tell you this bad boy blended everything I threw at it, I am not kidding in the slightest. Chia seeds? Dust. Frozen fruit? Obliterated. Ice cubes? Chunks be gone. It has made the most delightfully creamy and, well, smooth smoothies I have ever had in my life. It has preset options for what you're blending, but also has a pulse option. I used it for smoothies, but this would make amazing margaritas, daiquiris, dips, spreads, dressings, you name it. I love that it comes with multiple cups and lids, and it is very easy to clean. The base is small, so I can leave it on my counter or on a shelf without taking up much room. If you need a new blender, and want one that will crush anything, get this one. Your standard pitcher blender will be put to shame. It simply cannot do what this Ninja can. I have been missing out all this time with lumpy, bumpy, and chunky beverages from my old blender. No longer will I be plagued by having to chew my drink! I highly recommend getting this blender if you need a new one, or are in the market for some quality smoothies and drinks. It is absolutely worth it!

When we got our hands on this smoothie bowl maker, we were amazed by its power. The Smoothie Bowl Maker effortlessly blends frozen foods with less liquid, resulting in perfectly thick smoothie bowls. It's like having a professional smoothie bar in our own kitchen. The Ninja SS101 Foodi Smoothie Maker & Nutrient Extractor has truly been a revelation in our kitchen. While I can't speak to all its capabilities, I can attest to its smoothie-making prowess, and it's nothing short of a 5-star experience. One of the standout features is the smoothie function, which has become our daily go-to. This machine powers through even the toughest jobs with the help of Auto-iQ Technology. It's like having a smoothie bar right on our countertop, delivering consistently smooth and delicious results. The SmartTorque Technology is a true powerhouse. With a powerful 1200-peak-watt power-dense motor, it effortlessly powers through heavy loads without stalling. We no longer need to stir or shake the blender during operation, and that's a huge time-saver. This Ninja appliance has seamlessly replaced our old and outdated NutriBullet, bringing a new level of power and precision to our blending routine. The difference is undeniable, and it has elevated our daily smoothie experience to a whole new level. Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to the easy-to-clean base and dishwasher-safe parts. We appreciate the low maintenance aspect of this machine. In conclusion, the Ninja Foodi Smoothie Maker & Nutrient Extractor has been a fantastic addition to our kitchen. It delivers on its promises, and the quality of our smoothie bowls has reached new heights. It's powerful, versatile, and easy to clean, making it a top choice for anyone looking to elevate their blending game. The best personal size blender on the market! Buy it.
My husband purchased this for me almost two years ago, let me tell you, it still lives on my kitchen counter and is out to work weekly if not daily! We like to make protein shakes, smoothies, and the occasional milkshake. It make fast work out of everything. It’s high quality. The blades are sharp and have no problem getting though ice, frozen fruits, nuts, lettuce and everything else we’ve tried. The capacity is defiantly a one to two serving max, but that’s exact what we we looking for. We love the travel lids. And I like the flat storage lid if I make a smoothie and want to save half for later in the fridge without fear of it spilling. It’s a great value. The only drawback is that it is LOUD. You will definitely wake someone in the next room. It can be quite abrasive if it’s something you use first thing in the morning. However, because of the reliability and durability we’ve decided that it can be as loud as it needs to because we can always count on it to work and to have our shakes ready quick so we can get on with our day. We would purchase this again. And we would even purchase additional blending cups to the three it comes with just because we use them all so frequently.

Ninja blender
This thing is SO LOUD but all Ninja blenders are loud. I use these smoothie blenders to make toppers for the dogs' breakfasts. Usually I'll grind blueberries and other frozen fruits with yogurt or even just with some water. Just enough to flavor their kibble and get some greens into their diets too. My old one (not a Ninja brand) gave up the ghost on me a couple weeks ago and I've been using the old Ninja blender I have which is the one with 1 base and multiple uses. So, the 1 base can do the smoothie cups or the full size blender or a food processor. Now, I know the Ninja brand. I LOVE the brand. My old smoothie maker thing was a very small base, which was great for our house because we have literally 4 ft of countertop space in our entire kitchen which we can 'work' on. When the old smoothie base died, I had to replace it with the large Ninja base and that thing took up so much real estate on my counter top. But I couldn't tuck it away anywhere because our kitchen is the size of a cracker jack box and there's nowhere to tuck it away unless it goes back into the basement and I wasn't going to be running it up and down those stairs every single day for the weeks until I obtained a replacement. *sigh* So, in comes this thing. And I'm telling you...it IS powerful. 1200 peak watts of power. *Insert Tim Taylor grunts here* It will grind ice into snow. In a few seconds and with a simple press of a button, you've got snow. In the summer. Outside of smoothies, these Ninja blenders are great for adult parties/mixed drinks. Know how wonderful a margarita poured over snow is? No?! That's because you don't have one of these. How refreshing is a whiskey sour slushy? Get yourself one of these and find out. This particular model comes with a cup with a weird knob on it. It's for making thicker things, like your own peanut butter. The weird knob turns these scrapers inside the cup the opposite direction that the blades are turning and help to keep all the ingredients down for the blades to catch. The regular cups are a 24oz capacity. Much larger than the old ones. The openings are very wide and they come with a storage lid as well as two pour spout lids. I only wish Ninja would throw an extra blade in the box too. That's my only issue with the Ninja brand line...there's always just the one blade. But it's fine because I've already ordered a replacement one to have as an extra one. Extra just in case the current one gets dull or breaks...extra just in case we are pinched for time and need to hurry up and make 2 different smoothies to head out the door with. My ONLY issue is how loud this truly is. My dogs are used to the smoothie makers running and know that it's usually for them so they don't shy away from them when they're running. My larger base, older Ninja blender is loud but this thing is louder. I'm hoping it's because it's so strong. Thankfully, it's so powerful that you only need to run it for a few seconds for most things. The base has 2 sections cups to help hold it in place. It DOES NOT move during use. There are preset buttons and there is a button you can hold as long as you want. The Ninja brand is a good brand and I've used it for years now and I love them. This smoothie maker base is great for small kitchens and it's small enough to leave on the countertop in ours. It's a beast...chews through the toughest ingredients and grinds them down to liquid or powder but beware how loud it is.

Great….but loud
Great product. It’s small and doesn't take up much space on the counter. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it's loud; otherwise, great product.

Kitchen work horse, small enough for countertop
I’ve had this for like 3 days and I’m in love. Small enough to keep on my counter but a strong work horse. Has setting to just push, walk away and it get’s done. I have a vitamix which I’m obsessed with also but the Ninja is such a quick option for smaller smoothies or sauces. Love it so much

Powerful and Convenient
We used for the first time this morning, it was great! So much easier to make smoothies, blended everything easily. We used the extract and smoothie presets. About the same results, extract blends for 60 seconds, smoothie 30 seconds. Smoothie was slightly thicker. Easy to clean. Cups are large, no problem hand washing them, and less dishes to wash since you are using one container. The smoothie bowl attachment, I can see how it maybe a pain to clean, not sure how much I will use it. No more struggling to get the smoothie out of a large pitcher into a cup. Plenty of power, I have no doubts it will be able to handle anything I put in it. I've had the same blender for years and no where near the power of this one. We didn't know what we were missing, totally worth upgrading. I went with this blender because I wanted to make it easier to make a smoothie for on the go. I don't use my blender pitcher/food processor enough to justify buying a whole new set up. I wanted the personal size cups, but I'm not sure about those rechargeable portable blenders being able to blend well. This is exactly what I wanted without spending too much money on accessories I probably wouldn't use often or getting a gadget that may not measure up.

seller is not from uk
First of all, the seller does not mention in the description that the item has an US socket/plug secondly , the product has a p45 cancer warning again this isn't mentioned in the description Thirdly the seller expects the buyer to pay postage from UK to US when the description misleads the UK customer .

Really powerful, compact, easy to use and clean!
I totally love this blender! I’m using it daily since i got it and it’s doing a perfect job! I haven’t tried the Nutri Bowl yet, i’ll update this review once i try it! Ok it’s a little noisy but which blender isn’t? My cats are already getting used to it lol It’s also a HUGE upgrade from my previous bullet blender, it’s not even comparable! Don’t overthink and buy this, you won’t regret it!
