Are the cutting blades replaceable ?

NO, the blade is not replaceable. The blade is riveted to the body and thus cannot be replaced. We have thought about blade replacement. First, there has not been any demand (expect few inquiries) and second, it would take a redesign of the product.The blade is very sharp and will last a long time if used properly. This means that it is meant to strip/cut cable jackets and not metal wires. As long as this basic principle is followed, the blade should last a long time.We thank you for asking the question and giving us a chance to clarify. And thank you for consideration our product. When cutting the sheath across the cable, what stops the blade from cutting the internal wires?

If lot of force is used the blade will cut through the wires. With a few tries one gets the idea of how much force is needed to cut just through the jacket and not run into the cable itself. I am not an electrician nor expect in cutting wire. I have done many demonstrations in last five years and probably cut into the internal wire may be once. Of course, now I have a hang of it.I have been talking to electricians who are local and who I know; nobody has complained about cutting through internal wires. I have also called a few electrical installers who ordered many of these knives and they too did not complain about this. This has built confidence on the product and its performance.I suggest when you first cut the jacket, apply light force. If the knife does not cut through the jacket you can run through it the second time. Soon enough you will get a hang of it.Thank you for asking the question, it is definitely relevant. Quality product!

I was surprised when I got these of the quality. These are really well made. I haven't got a chance to use them yet. I liked how well they were made I bought the other model cruiser with the scissors as well.

Different but ok

Figured I'd give these a try. Actually impressed with the size and fact it comes with a belt case. Belt case is a cheap plastic thing though. Working ok for now but without a replacement blade I'm not sure what will happen when it pulls or chips. Probably gonna need a better tool then with changeable blades.

Pls do not invest your money on this product I purchased this yesterday and used it today at work to try and strip the jacket of off some basic speaker wire 🤬needless to say they suck don’t do it look away stop you’ll regret it
