I didn't really check the details and this piece does not fit either my Tenacious nor my Persistence knifes. Nonetheless, the material feels pretty sturdy and the ultimate position in the correct knife would be exactly as advertised.

This comes with the clip only. Other online sellers of this thing sometimes provide screws as well. Not this one. Also, you need a small torx screw driver to replace it. It is tight enough to keep it secured in pocket. In fact, I like it more than the original clip as that one took more force to take from the pocket than I preferred.

More Chinese garbage, made of very thin, soft metal. After I initially installed it I realized that the clip is much too wide for it to stay securely in my pocket. I had to uninstall it and bend it (much too easy to bend - aka soft metal) and reinstall. Like most products of the PRC this is cheap and shoddy. They don’t even send you screws with it, just the clip. Oh and as for “stonewashed”… yeah just as stonewashed as a raw piece of aluminum 👎🏻

I wanted to like this pocket clip. I really did. Here's the issues I had with it. I didn't get a picture of it when I first put it on my Manix 2, but when it was first installed, the gap between the G10 scale and the clip was much narrower. So, it was a tighter fit on the pocket since the pocket material fits in that gap when you slide the knife into the pocket. The problem was, once it slid down the pocket to the point where the screws are, it would go no further because of the screws. As you can see in the picture, the gap narrows drastically above where the screws are due to the thickness of the screws. This is not good because it defeats the purpose of buying an aftermarket clip in the first place The whole idea is to have a clip that is deep carry enough that the knife disappears into the pocket. Because of this, I pulled out on the clip a bit and the pocket did slip on past the screws and the knife disappeared completely into the pocket. This brings us to the second issue with this clip. The material of the clip is so thin that in pulling out the clip away from the scales to allow the pocket to slip past the screws, it bent the clip outwards and it stayed that way. So now the clip does not grab the pocket nearly enough. It's a flawed design and the materials are subpar for a knife of this quality. Anyone who pays out the substantial money that you have to pay out for a Spyderco is after a certain standard of fit and finish. And Spyderco knives certainly deliver on that expectation. The stock clip delivers on that standard in fit and finish as it's much sturdier and there are no issues with the clip as far as design and materials. The stock clip is a much sturdier material and is thicker, so you could pull out on the clip and it just springs back and remains nice and tight. The only issue with the stock clip is of personal preference in wanting the knife to ride deeper in the pocket. This aftermarket clip does NOT live up to that standard of fit and finish and fails in delivering on the one thing that you would actually buy it for. I suppose I could take some needle-nose pliers and do some bending and make that gap bigger and bend the clip so it fits tight again, but it bent out so easily that I am certain it wouldn't stay that way. Is it serviceable? I suppose. And that's why I gave it 2 stars. But it just feels cheap on a quality knife and in tweeking it to make it ride deeper, it now does not hold the knife as securely in the pocket. I will be putting the stock clip back on and leaving it there after this experience. If you're reading this and agree with anything I've said here, leave the stock clip on and be happy with the little bit of the knife that peeks out of the pocket. Or do some research (and shell out more money) for a better clip than this. This clip was cheaper than most and I guess you get exactly what you pay for in this situation. I wanted to like it. I really did. I just don't for the reasons I've explained.

I bought this clip to replace the OEM clip, which I bent and subsequently broke trying to straighten. The finish said “stonewashed”, but matched the brushed stainless steel finish on the knife very well, I like the deep pocket carry design. It is well made and installed easily (save your original screws, as it doesn’t come with new ones). I needed to bend it a little to provide a tight hold, which made me a little nervous , but it worked out well. I hope I don’t have to buy another, but will if needed. Good product.

Great clip, sturdy and good layout.

The quality is so poor, the product is completely useless for the stated purpose. Once installed on my knife, the clip had no ability to hold the knife in place. Not only is it a waste of your money, your ensure you will also loose your knife. For the same price, a quality product can be purchased from any number of North American sites.
