Angelus 605 Satin Finisher, 1 oz.

I had my leather sofa and love seat restored by a professional. He matched the color perfectly but the seat had less shine than it originally had as well as other parts of the sofa not heavily used. Color was rubbing off a little too. I used this to seal the sofa and restore the shine. It worked great. The shine is exactly like the sofa originally with some sheen but not too much. Color stopped coming off and I can tell it's going to last much longer. I had to later wash the sofa and this paint held up and didn't come off. It's a small bottle and wish it came in a larger size but I was able to do both the sofa and love seat with a little left over.

I create amazing crafts. Sometimes, the perfect craft or art creation can be destroyed just by a sub-par acrylic varnish/finisher. This finisher is amazing stuff! I wouldn't dare call this a vanish though. A vanish doesn't have the capability of sheen intensity with each layer/application you apply, thus, the control of how much shimmer/sheen you want to see. However, this little "gem" allows you to control this. The Satin Acrylic Finisher offers various stain finishing shimmers, by the amount of coats you apply. It has the consistency of "milk" The consistency is great because you don't want thick clumps of finisher on your projects. You also don't need to use much, but make sure each layer is completely dry before adding another layer.

It was easy to apply and quickly dried. I wanted a coat/finish over what I had painted on vinyl. I didn't want a shiny or matte finish, this was just right.

I used this to protect a leather headboard I painted. So far it's holding up well. I will update if that changes. I should note though that the product has a very watery consistancy I used a cotton round for application and it came out much more even than when I used a paint brush or sponge brush.

This is my favorite brand of paint. The colors are always true, quality is unmatched, super easy to use with the attached brushes in some colors. I’ve found these paints to perform well, dry quickly, and remain durable. What a value!

The product has come completely spoilt.

I thought there were 3 shine levels - matte, satin and gloss and thought satin was in the middle. Now, I'm not entirely sure, but think there is maybe an "original" finish that is a step above matte -- so this is one step away of the highest gloss -- and it is way glossier than I thought or need. The produce is fine, I just think this might be better advertised.

Ordered 3 Angelus paints and all 3 arrived without a seal and with different volumes of paint inside with indications of use. Great paint, but there needs to be quality control as this was purchased as a new item, not used.
