How do I set the light to cycle through the colors? It seems to stay on one color at a time.

As far as mine works, as soon as I plug it in and press the Light button on the remote, it starts to cycle through the colors.

I filled my diffuser and went to turn it on but it beeps three times and wont start. What is wrong?
