If I could give this zero stars I would. I had a handmade quilt that my mother in law made for our wedding it was beautiful blues and whites. I had washed it and some of the colour ran from the blue into the white. So on recommendation I got this stuff. The once beautiful blue flowers are now brown. This happened in a matter of seconds had I left it the full hour there would be nothing left. However the bits that had actually ran are still there and were not removed. Meaning the quilt made for a lovely memory is now ruined. I am beyond heartbroken. There is no re make of this quilt it wouldn’t have the same sentiment. The stuff also stinks to high heaven and I am now lumbered with a second box I will not use. The beautiful blue embroidery is also discoloured and bled into the white which wasn’t there before I used this stuff. My husband’s dad passed away before our wedding and now we have lost a part of his mum too.

I have used this in the past and saved a few clothes so when I forgot and put 3 new sweaters in to wash before wearing, one of which was red, 2 others cream I bought this to try. Of course everything had turned a pale pink! Used this and it removed almost all of the pink, enough to be unnoticeable so saved the new sweaters. To be fair they were acrylic and I used before on cotton which was a perfect result so I expect it might be a better product for natural fabrics but I am happy with the result and saving my sweaters

Used to remove pink colour from whites. Made the whites really bright, so much so that I will probably use regularly to prevent greying. Be aware though that this did bleach the coloured motif on a pair of socks so may not be suitable to use on coloured fabric.

I put a new yellow jumper in the wash and the colour ran despite already owning the same jumper in a different colour which was fine. The colour transfer was different on a lot of items but at least not patchy. My husband’s white shirt had a pale lemony look but underwear was very yellow! The SOS did work on 100% colour but only a bit on anything else so quite disappointed.

If there was a choice to give 0 stars then I would do so. Firstly, the product was advertised as measured in millilitres, which is a measurement for a liquid product. However, the received product was a powder and so should have been measured in grams. Because of this, I requested to return the product for a refund (I've used the powdered version before and it didn't work). As it was a low-cost item, tracked delivery would have cost more than the product itself, so it was returned via standard Royal Mail delivery (which still cost more than half the product value). No refund was received, and when I queried this the seller refused to help as there is no tracking number. I contacted Amazon to try to resolve this but have gotten nowhere and the seller has even refused to acknowledge Amazon's latest message to them. So, I'm now out of pocket on the product and the return delivery cost, and the seller, who advertised the product incorrectly, refuses to help. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

Very poor, paid £15 to brighten up 2. new orange towels which had been washed with a brown towel . Wish I’d bought the cheaper colour run now . The result was not good .

Smells a bit gross but this product is AMAZING. Twice I’ve managed to wash a red and white striped item at the wrong temperature causing a colour run. Twice this product has come to the rescue and restored the white stripes. I love it and it’s so easy to use!
