I needed a LARGE bread bin and lots of other bins looked too small. The bin is roomy and the design is really lovely. It comes with a nice bamboo lid that you can use as a cutting board. Its size permits large and many breads and pastries. I will also check out the e-book with recipes for baking bread and pizzas.Great bread bin!

A nice bread bin, the cutting board lid is a great idea and very happy that I could upgrade my plastic bread bin to an eco one. The dark design is nice and understated in my kitchen.

This is a BIG ass bread bin. 38cm x 12cm (weighs approx 2.2kg, including bread board/lid!)Aesthetics/Looks: very pleasing to the eye. Bought one in black. Feels reassuringly heavy and looks real robust!The bread board itself is made from compressed bamboo and is nice and heavy. None of this lightweight, flimsy stuff. Appears to have been pre-treated with some sort of food safe oil. Happy days.I cannot emphasise how reassuringly heavy it is. You could do some proper damage with this if you decided to smack someone in the face with it.As bread bin or self defence item it scores 10/10!The bin itself is made from bamboo and a melamine resin which makes it pretty indestructable. Super easy to clean out and super strong: just don't chuck it in the dishwasher! no no.One of the reviews mentioned that the air-holes were too big. They aren't small but are not that big either. Some thought has gone into sizing them. It would have been good if they had all been drilled out in a straight line, as opposed to being on the wonky side (but hey, that might just be the one I got and it is just my OCD playing up)You could buy cheap and buy twice.Or get this.

Really good. Not sure it's even for this but we also use the reverse side of the lid to chop unsliced fresh stuff from the bakery. The grooves mean clean slices everytime. A bit pricey and also not quite big enough as one loaf leaves absolutely no room for anything else and we often have a loaf in the house plus a few special oven bottom muffins or breadcakes etc.

Spacious bread bin with a lid that turns into chopping board. The color (we went for the black one) gives it a very modern touch. We bake our own bread at home at this thing keeps it fresh for days. Highly recommended.

Decided to go for one of the most expensive options, as I felt the cheaper options had thin lids that would buckle. This one has a decent size lid and will make good hopping board. Container feels plastic to me but is light and solid. Size seems good for the loaves we make. I’ve put two half loaves from machine, and still room.

The lid does not fit properly on this surprisingly thin and flimsy plastic bread bin. It is very poorly made. For a premium price of nearly £40, I expect a premium product. Looks great in the photos but buyer beware, the reality is not so good.

This bread bin is great, it's smart, very sturdy, and keeps my bread much better than when I stored it in the fridge. Top fits very snuggly so would definitely recommend unless you have arthritis issues in your hands.
