Easy to Rise
My dad is disabled and has difficulty standing up from a sit. This toilet rail was easy to install (just needed a screwdriver) and is adjustable for someone's height and strength needs. The rails do not impede where his feet are they are to the sides of the toilet. The suction cups could be better. The suction cups will push outward if you do not push straight up. I think they could improve this product by also adding a brace bar in between the back and front rail for better sturdiness. However, I do really like this product. My dad is able to sit and stand without constant assistance. It was easy to install and price point was good. I would recommend this product.

Stability
My husband has Parkinson's disease and balancing on the toilet can be problematic....i put this frame in place...easy to do...and it works really well...the legs wobble alittle but don't slide out of place..and if you lift up by pressing staight down with your weight they don't even wobble...im happy with it and so is my husband...one suggestion for improvement...a bar to attach the legs to each other that wraps around the front of the toilet bowl...not ON the floor which could make cleanning the floor of "accidents" difficult but maybe about 4" or 5" up and somewhat flush with the toilet bowl so as not to interfere with the user's legs...it would add more stability I think...otherwise no problems ...a very good product.

Quality Varies
I have purchased 4 of these units in the past 6 months or so. These units have had slightly different mixes of features. Depending on which set of features you get, the overall quality ranges from 3 stars to 5 stars. However, I have noticed that the more recent purchases had more of the better features so hopefully these are product improvements being worked in as production goes along, and that all future units have the best feature set. The variable features are 1) the ends of the vertical legs, which may be round caps such as on the end of a crutch, or wide suction cups, and 2) the method of attaching the arms to the mounting plate under the toilet seat, which may be detent pegs or screw-in wing nuts. The 1st 2 units I purchased had the round cap leg ends and the detent balls. The 3rd has suction cup feet and detent balls, which was a bit better. The 4th and most recent had the suction cups and the wingnuts, which was the best. The detent balls, especially with the round cap feet, allow the arms to wobble a fair amount, which is a problem for users who themselves are wobbly. This is the 3-star version. The suction cup feet limit arm wobble a lot even with the detent balls, but there's still some wobble. This is the 4-star version. The wingnuts plus suction cups make the arms totally rigid. This is the 5-star version. Hopefully this will be the configuration from here on. Regardless of version, all these units assemble and mount to the toilet very easily, like in about 5 minutes. Any difficulty with installation will be due to the existing toilet seat mounting hardware, not this unit. As the toilet seat has to be removed and then reattached, certain types of mounting hardware are easier than others. So your mileage will vary depending on your pre-existing toilet seat hardware.

Good product with poor directions.
It really helps and fits just fine at the toilet. The directions leave a lot to be desired though

Easy Installation / Serves its Purpose Well
Didn’t take long to install into a rather tight commode area. Some flex when not in use, but when bearing down on the handles, suction cups at bottom of legs grip the floor well making it very stable. A lifesaver for my elderly mom‘s bathroom needs.

Floor must be smooth, no texture.
I'd love to be able to give this a higher rating, but once put together, the side rails are still a bit wobbly, despite tightening all screws. The suction cups wouldn't stick to my mom's bathroom floor, as it has just enough texture to defeat it. I solved that by getting two pieces of laminate samples from the hardware store and double stick taped them to the floor. My picture is before I did that. Now the suction cups stay put. I've been a big fan of Vive products but the wobbly issue needs to be addressed. I'm not the first.

Gives support and stability when using commode
My parents had a hard time getting off and on their commode even though it is handicap height. We had a riser but then tried this instead. It fixed my parents problem using the commode but also gave them security about grabbing on to something if they were wobbly on their feet. It's easy to put together & install; and we adjusted it both in height and width. The bottom of the posts had suction cups which would really add a lot more stability to it if you have an un-carpeted floor. It's a wee bit wobbly for us because my parents (ages 94 and 90) have carpeting in their bathroom. We are very happy with the product.

Mostly useful
Installed easily without any issue. Provided hardware worked as intended. Performance of the design is all it can be. Nit when you have 3' of latterly unsupported length, the Motherinlaw can experience a wobbly mount / dismount. One floor mount suction cup fell on a grout line which is unfortunate. I may silicone glue that one to the floor, since you can't get any suction over a grout joint.

Most importantly, this attached securely to the lavatory by way of screws that utilize the holes that hold the loo seat on, making it very safe and secure. I know of someone who had a different type and it tipped over leaving a huge gash on their leg, so I chose carefully, so that it wouldn't happen to my Mother. This is exactly what I was looking for and it does exactly what it says it will. It's easy to fit( I bought new screws on Amazon, just in case and I was pleased I did). Because it screws to the lavatory, it cannot tip over or come "away". It's adjustable and you can easily lift the ends off the floor for easy cleaning. My 94 year old Mother( dodgy hip) is very happy because you simply cannot slip off the loo with these either and getting on and off is a breeze now. We use it in conjunction with a loo booster seat and she is extremely happy. I'm over 40 years younger and have to say, I prefer it this way now too. I check the fixtures every now and again, but nothing has come loose. It doesn't look too " medical/carehome" either. Highly recommended. It also gives her something to hold on to as she potters around the bathroom. Wish I'd bought it earlier.
