Automatic Wooden bee hive House kit with 7 PCS Upgraded Auto Frame Comb-Beehive Box Honey Free harvesting.

I have already purchased two of these a few years ago and have had wonderful results. Saw this one and the price was half of what I had paid for just the 7 honey frames. So I took a chance and ordered this kit. It came in two different boxes. 1 with the honey frames and the other with the wooden boxes. I was impressed with the packaging and it came with everything you would need except for the 10 frames needed for the brood (lower) box. I have never used a wooden queen excluder, but it came with one and I will be trying it out for the first time. It looks well built and I would think the bees would like the wood better than the stainless and plastic ones I have been using. The included instructions are very, very basic. But if you lay out all of the parts first and identify each before assembly it will make the process very easy. The wooden frames and parts fit perfectly and the holes are pre-drilled. No extra screws or hardware is included so be careful not to loose them. I was so impressed with this one that I ordered another one a few days after getting this one. I will take some photos of the next one on assembly and include it in my review. This kit makes it so much more affordable to the beginner bee keeper. This kit came with: Bottom board with entrance reducer. 10 frame (full size) brood box (frames not included). Queen excluder. Honey frame box with side view windows. 7 Auto frame combs (replaces the Super). Screen board and ventilated roof. The only additional items needed are a base to set the hive on top of to get it off the ground and the 10 frames needed for the bottom brood box and of course the bees. I highly recommend this kit for beginner and pro alike.

Fairly easy to assemble and seems sturdy. I added a few screws to be sure it will stay together.

No written instructions or even step by step photos for construction. Managed to find some online but got the best results looking at the sales photos. My first hive but I love it so far. So do my bees.

Assembly went well. Recommend laying out all the pieces first. Directions are largely pictures. I used a rubber mallet to fit all the dovetail corners, no nails needed for the frame boxes. The cedar lumber is good, cut well. Everything looks great when finished. Excited to setup with a nuc bee kit. The kit does come in two box shipments a few days apart. Flow frames came 2nd.

This bee hive is excellent! I really, really, really wanted to get a flow hive, but couldn't justify spending 3x the amount to get one. This is excellent quality and a be started checking it out while we were putting it together. I will say, it would be handy if they labeled the pieces and labeled which direction they should go together. We got the super together pretty easily, but the brood box was not quite as easy. I kept trying different ways to put it together and thought I had tried every possible way, but it didn't work so I started sanding it down. Then the other person who was helping to showed me a different direction and it went together. I still can't figure out what I was doing wrong (and I'm pretty good at putting things together). We haven't gotten to the point of putting the super on for the bees to start filling with honey, but I think it's going to work well! Also, the key for the frames was missing but when I contacted the seller they responded and sent a key right away. If you get one and there are issues, I would encourage you to contact the seller, they are very responsive!

There were no legible instructions. None of the parts are labeled for assembly. There were not enough screws. The corners of the wood panel's dovetails were not even close to fitting, which I had to alter to make them fit. The"L" tool to make the frame/comb separate to provide honey flow was missing as well as the screws and handle supports . This was the worse purchase that I have ever received from Amazon, and I would have returned it except the full day my kids and I spent trying to figure out the poor instructions and the damage to the super hive box. Please check any other orders of the same type and have your staff evaluate it in order to protect your reputation. Thank you, Lawrence Gladieux

The flow style frames showed up in excellent condition the hive showed up in good condition well packaged the reminder concerns that were addressed promptly and more than adequately by their customer service Representatives would highly recommend ordering from this company and will continue to order from this company again the quality of the materials excellent heavily waxed saturated with the wax tight fitting absolutely snug fitting a little bit of sanding or a little bit of chiseling or using a utility knife to just slightly trim some of the dovetails was needed but that's great made for a snug fit no nails no screws required to hold the sides together I'd say that this is close to a precision quality as you can get from mass production absolutely beautiful..

Very impressed with the construction. Dovetails all fit tight and I did not have to cut or adjust any joints. It does require assembly but I feel like anyone who is adventurous enough to keep bees should have the basic knowledge and tools to put it together. Great kit fro the price. You will need to buy brooding frames.
