Yes with a shut- off feature. Tab on spout must be pressed down to dispense fuel. I don't care for the feature, but if u have children around it's ok.

Q: I have a 5 gallon Midwest Diesel fuel can with a black spout how does it work.

Fill container with diesel. Attach spout to yellow container. Lift container and insert spout into reciever for fueling. As you insert spout allow the extended tooth to grab lip of reciever. As you press down on spout/bottle slightly, this tooth will hold and allow spout to open slightly, which in turns allows fuel to pass through spout. If you lift/withdraw spout, the valve closes allowing no more fuel passage.

Q: Anyone have a place to get a plain replacement cap? I don't need to pour I just need to store, but the cap has a built in spout.

E bay has plain replacement caps very cheap. Less than a dollar each.

Q: What kind of poring spout does it have?

A stupid EPA spout. Self venting that doesn't work well. I drilled a small hole behind the top handle and put a screw in it to keep it air tight. When I want to pour diesel, I remove the screw and it vents MUCH better, just like it's supposed to.
