Would the 50L one be OK for a one bed flat, with enough for 2 consecutive showers once heated and on during the showers?

Yes but an 80 liter would be better.

Unvented solves the pressure through taps

Perfect for Flats and small houses.

Purchased to replace Ariston ST100 which is no longer available unfortunately. Taller than original heater so had to alter existing pipework and resize connector to undersize of heater. Why Ariston changed the layout and sizes baffles me except if it was to bring in line with European heaters. Fitted heater in 3 hours and now working as expected. Heater elements are always suspect on these heaters as they corrode away.
