Spigen Liquid Air Case Compatible with Pixel 5 - Matte Black

Amazing case. If you're looking for a relatively sleek, protective, good quality case for your Pixel 5, this is the one to go for. The material is a very high quality, stiff rubber that fits uniformly and tightly around the phone. It most certainly doesn't 'peel off' from the phone easily, and is very secure and sturdy. So secure and sturdy, in fact, that it can be a bit hard to get it off. The case is grippy, with a nice, smudge resistant uniform traingular pattern on the back and slight ridges on the sides for added grippiness. It is quite slim, but if you're looking for the slimmest case possible, then I would look elsewhere. I think the thickness is great for most people, though. Not too thick, but thick enough to protect the phone well. I can confirm, it is very protective. I have dropped it a few times, and it did it's job great. All cutouts are perfectly precise. The large cutout for the fingerprint scanner on the back makes it easy to find without needing to look or feel for it. The camera bump and screen is protected with a good size lip, and the charging port hole is big enough to fit all charging cables guaranteed. I can confirm that the cases no longer come with a cutout at the top, this was a manufacturing defect with older batches. Wireless charging works a breeze. The buttons are somehow more clickier and tactile than without the case. What more can I say? It's great, and offers good value for money as well. I will definitely go with Spigen in the future! Fantastic case. Writing this review after 3 years of ownership, and still looks good as new (almost haha). Doesnt show grease marks, is grippy but not too thick, and has genuinely protected the phone from multipule drops whether that be carpets and wood flooring indoors, down the stairs, to outside on concrete mulipule times. Will always trust spiegen for my cases, cant go wrong.

I'm very pleased with this case (for my Google Pixel 5). It's a snug fit, seems to give good protection, and still results in a slim-enough phone. It's good and secure in the hand, too. The scooped cutout for the fingerprint reader makes this easy to use without needing to look for it - a bonus from the (rather thicker than some) gauge of the material. As it happens, this has a second advantage for me. I use the phone in a windscreen-mounted holder whilst in the car, and I found that the Pixel 5 minus the case was very lightly too narrow to be gripped securely. Now it's mounted in the Spigen case, it's held very securely!

This case is almost perfect for me. It clips on tightly and isn't ridiculously thick, it feels very nice in the hand with a grippy hard rubberish texture and it confidently grips the phone, fitting nicely. There are some very slight gaps here and there allowing for dust to get in, but it's minimal and obviously some holes will always exist. I would have liked some more colour options, for example having this case in a pleasing teal/blue would be exactly what I was looking for, but black is safe I suppose, and so long as it protects the phone. The main issue I have, is they seem to have decided to have some crazy imprinted design on the inside of the case, which in the long run is just going to be an area for dust to gather and stay, or maybe even mark the back of the phone. Not sure whether it's to help with rigidity or hold, but it's a bit of shame I guess. Otherwise, I would recommend this for anyone wanting the safe option for a quality case.

This phone case is perfect for my Pixel 5. Seems solid and sturdy, has great build quality and is easy to grip. The covers over the volume and lock buttons aren't spongey and give great use feedback (feels clicky, not difficult to press down). The fingerprint sensor isn't blocked at all by the case, neither is the camera. Fits well into my car's phone holder and there's no interference for any charging cables I've used so far, either. Highly recommend.

The Spigen cases I've always used. They are extremely slim and compact which makes using the phone very easy as there is no bulk to the case. They have never allowed my phone to crack or be damaged at all, this is after years of dropping it be it from out of my pocket of off a desk they stand up to any test. I would highly recommend the Spigen case not only for it's reliability but also it's cheap price for such great protection. 5/5

Fantastic phone protector. Slim but sturdy and raised around the screen which protects it well. The back has a criss cross pattern on it which makes it grippy and very comfortable to hold.

All my phones have been protected by these cases. Safe, secure and a great grip and feel.
