Great yarn but oh my, the smell when wet!
Nice enough yarn. Lots of loose fibres when knitting. But oh my days was I not prepared for the burnt hair smell of the yarn when wet. It's awful. An alpaca yarn trait, apparently. And honestly, it's enough to prevent me ever working with alpaca again. It has a faint burnt hair smell when in dry but only noticeable on close inhale. Other than that, a great yarn at a great price.
