QEP 23-1/2" Professional Mixing Paddle

I've went through a lot of mixers in my life and finally found one that I think is perfect for mortar. I'm way to lazy and old to be cleaning my mixers all the time.. I like to let it dry and hit it off with a hammer meanwhile breaking my mixer because its cast aluminum. This one is welded meaning it's mild iron, it's going to bend before it breaks. The good- It's short so it fits in my bins perfectly. The bad- I'm a bit huntched over when mixing, but for me having it fit in my bin is worth my back sacrifice. I went from my Japan made Makita mixer being a dead-beat using my other mixers. To an F5 tornado for a drill. What I'm getting at, is because the beaters are small your drill will be able to mix much much much easier. I was able to put this in a pail of water and run it for 1 minute slamming my drill from 1st to reverse and it came out 100% spotless ready to beat some eggs in the kitchen for an omelete. I don't expect that to last as the chrome finish will wear off...but I'm impressed I have a clean mixer after using it for once.

Works well for mixing up drywall mud or mortar. Did not rust

Nice, sturdy, but I noticed after a couple mixes of mortar that the base is wearing down. Best priced mixer I could find.

After researching the right trowel for thin-set I found this. I've been using it for the last two days and it works great. The shape is perfect in the bucket getting into every space and surface.

Works as described

This is so much easier to clean than other mixing paddles and it fit the chuck of my (baseline model) Dewalt. I use it for mixing up pottery clay scraps into a nice smooth slip for reclaim. It handled the job with no weld failures and I haven't yet seen any rust. All good.

I mix Rapid Set products, usually Mortar Mix or Cement All, in 5 gal buckets. This mixer head works very well. Plenty strong! It is holding up well under heavy use. Comfortable working height for me, I'm 6' tall. Easy to clean after use.

It runs smoother , mixing well which will not splash hard whenever starting up ! Good tool.

These hold up well for us as someone who mixes a lot of tile setting material and grout. They are nice and long for the deep 5 gallon buckets. Can't go wrong with these mixers.

Great universal mixing tool, easy to clean.
